Pizzo viewpoint

A bit of a climb, but well worth it! The area itself could be considered a bit dodgy as some kids were smoking weed around, but do not let that scare you, they won't do anything! There isn't much else besides the lookout, but I still recommend as you get a great view of the whole town from here!

Perfect perspective of Lower and Upper Modica and in the same time a good opportunity to explore the narrow streets while going up/down.

Sunset on Pizzo Belvedere is a wonderful experience. Watch the city below change colour as the sun sets. You can see as far as Modica sorda. It has benches to sit on and a cafe close by. It is well worth the long climb up from Modica Bassa. Bus goes to church st John close by if you're not up for that .!

A good resting place with a breathtaking view. A great place to catch your breath after climbing the numerous stairs of the city. No place selling anything in the vicinity so bring snacks.

Awesome view of Modica. As we climbed to this outlook we walked through the narrow streets and alleys of Modica and had a first-hand experience of what life must be like there. We experienced the real felling of a Sicilian town.

Very beautiful view of the historic city. It was worth the walk from the information area and through the points of interest in this area.

Definitely worth the hike for incredible views over Modica. The streets on the way up are also fascinating.

Breathtaking view over Modica old town

Fantastic view of Modica Bassa. This place is worth the climb which I've done many times in the past. I had my Dad drop us off at the top during sunset to enjoy the beauty, then we made our way down by foot through the narrow streets of Modica Alta. There's a little bar up here too that serves drinks, beer, food and of course the famous Modica Chocolate. They even have free samples which my daughter simply loves. Do not miss this amazing view from the top of the mountain and as you walk down think about the amazing food you'll find at the bottom.

A steep climb up through beautifully evocative streets full of crumbling palazzo's but worth it for the literally breathtaking views over Modica. Then enjoy a drink and snack at the sweet little bar close by.
