Daniele was so awesome! He is so passionate and appreciative of the Amalfi Coast. He’s such a local, everyone seems to know him. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, the free time built in at each town along the way and lunch at the winery. An absolutely lovely day exploring Amalfi!

Wow! What an incredible experience Daniele provided for us during our trip to the Amalfi coast. When your guide knows literally everyone on the Amalfi coast and they all stop to say hello to him you know you are in good hands!! This incredible man does it all. He provided transportation for our whole family including some small side trips we had as well. 5 star service from start to finish. We arraigned a winery tour as well as an Amalfi coast tour that couldn’t have been better. The unbelievable sites of this magical part of Italy speak for themselves but Daniele provided us with the best and most useful information about each stop. It was just a pleasure listening to him speak so fondly of his beautiful home. The winery we visited “Cantina Tagliafierro” was magical and the wine was divine. The amazing Tagliaffierro family that owns/operates the vineyard and makes the wine was all there during the tasting from the babies to the grandfathers. The food is all homemade and delicious just an amazing experience. Daniele runs the tasting from his Michelin restaurant sommelier past, which he’s very modest about, however his passion for wine is evident and it’s quite an enjoyable experience. We saw everything, it was an all day experience but worth every minute we covered the entire Amalfi coast with stops in Amalfi,Ravello,and the winery. Daniele’s other drivers are equally kind and friendly a Jean-Pierre from Agerola was fun to speak with. We can’t wait to go back and when we do my first call will be to Daniele. Grazie Mille!!!

Daniele was AMAZING. He helped us navigate the Amalfi and made it so much more fun. He is super nice and helpful, he even picked us up on a moments notice when we took the wrong bus to praiani. Highly recommended!!

If you want to experience the Amalfi Coast from a culinary and local perspective, you HAVE to do this tour. Daniele takes you around the area –showing you interesting attractions (Grotto Smeraldo, Ravello’s Villa Rufolo, Amalfi etc.), telling you about historical backgrounds of the places and giving you time to explore on your own. The highlight is definitely the wine tasting at the Osteria Reale where you have the chance to taste the grapes before you try the local wines that are made from it. You can really tell that everything –from the meal to the choice of wines– is chosen with care and love. Would always do it again and 100% worth the price.

Daniele is an absolute gem of a human! My friend and I were in the Amalfi Coast (staying in Sorrento). We booked a Lemon Tour / cooking class in Amalfi - Daniele was our driver, but so much more than that!! We drove us but shared so much knowledge on the route, we stopped for a delicious espresso and ended at the Lemon Tour. Daniele joined us on the tour and became our own personal photographer! He captured over 300 beautiful pictures/ videos that I’ll treasure forever.

He then drove us home but made a few stops along the way at key historical points to see on our way back to sorrento.

Truly, he is one of the nicest, kindest, funniest humans I’ve ever met and couldn’t not recommend MORE his services. I look forward to coming back to Italy and learning about wine and more from him!!

My husband and I has the great fortune to spend the day touring the Amalfi Coast with Daniele and Salvatore. From the very first contact with Daniele, I knew that this was going to be a special tour. He worked with me to create a magical experience, allowing us to see the best of the Amalfi coast while enjoying the excellent food and wine of the region.

The tour exceeded our expectations. While the weather was rainy, Daniele and Salvatore brought a ray of sunshine. The highlight was the wine tour and tasting. The food was excellent, fresh from the garden. Danielle introduced us to the varietals of the Amalfi Coast. It was exciting to explore the food and wine of the region.

I am looking forward to my next trip to the Amalfi coast and exploring more tours with Wine Tour Amalfi, perhaps next time the cooking class.

My wife and I had been touring vineyards throughout Italy for several weeks. Spending our last few days on the Amalfi coast we wanted to visit a vineyard and learn about varietals unique to the area. We booked a tour with WineTour AmalfiCoast. Compared to other wine tours we had experienced in Tuscany and Umbria it was a great value but far exceeded our expectations for quality of wines, food, knowledge of our guide, and just plain fun.
Danielle, our driver, sommelier, and new friend made the day something truly special. My wife is prone to motion sickness and the Amalfi coast road is one of the windiest in Italy. He drove smoothly the whole drive and stopped at some of the most beautiful outlooks between Positano and Ravello. He even surprised us for our 40th wedding anniversary with chilled local prosecco at one of the stops. After an hour stop in Ravello we proceeded up into the Tramonti valley to Osteria Reale in Gete, a fourth generation owned vineyard, winery, and restaurant. Two brothers, Gitano and Luigi, own and operate the business and do everything from caring for and harvesting the grapes, to making the wine, and finally cooking and serving wonderful meals. Danielle gave us a tour of their vineyard, explaining the uniqueness of the Tintorre (I had never seen a 100-year-old vine) and other local grapes. It followed with a tasting of their four wines, a white, rose, and two reds paired with homemade bread, olive oil and quiche and a sampling of local cheeses, salami, and fruits. Throughout Danielle explained the uniqueness of each wine, teaching us tricks on how to better appreciate the aromas of the wine. They were the best wines we had had in all of Italy. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better Gitano served us lunch Luigi had also prepared of ravioli, eggplant parmesan, and three homemade desserts accompanied by the four wines. It was out of this world. After we finished, Danielle concluded the tour in the winery and its special history.
If you love food and wine and want to experience something truly unique we recommend WineTour AmalfiCoast and its amazing owner/driver/sommelier and new life long friend. It is something very special and we will never forget.

We had a fantastic time during our wine tour. Daniele picked us up from the hotel right on time and is a fantastic and knowledgeable host. After a beautiful drive up the hills we stopped at the Marisa Cuomo winery and had a tour of the vineyards and wine making process. After this, we went to the La Bonte del Capo for a delicious, expansive lunch and wine tasting of the Marisa Cuomo wines. The staff of the restaurant is friendly and very hospitable, the food was terrific! Finally we made a short stop at Amalfi to visit the town and were dropped back at the hotel. All in all a fantastic day and a tour we can definitely recommend.
