Albergo Santa Chiara

We had an amazing stay at the Albergo Santa Chiara. It was in the centre of town and the grounds of the hotel are stunning. The owners, George and his wife are extremely kind and hospitable. You must stay here if you are going through Tuscany!

One of the highlights of our stay in Sarteano. You need to park in the main square and walk a short hike to get here but it is well worth it. The view is great and the staff are so friendly. It appears to be a family affair.

Our food was delicious.

Santa Chiara in Sarteano is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The owners Georgio and Chloe and their son Alexander, go out of their way to make everything perfect. The building was previously a convent at the top of the town and is within walking distance of everything. The atmosphere is so peaceful, you could spend all day in the garden just relaxing and sipping Prosecco. Chloe makes all the food from scratch even the pasta and pesto. Every meal is a delight and simply delicious. In the summer you eat in the garden under a canopy of lights and starry skies. To me, it feels like a spiritual place where you find the peace you have been seeking. I can't wait to return. You will never find a nicer place to stay.

One of my favourite restaurants in Sarteano. The food is excellent, service second to none (especially the older waiter - possibly the owner), his friendliness and attention to detail is just superb. The cherry on top are the views from this restaurant, set in an old convent.
You must visit this place!

A gem in the Tuscany. I would encourage a stay in this hotel:
- very well maintained Convent from XV century (when will you be able yo stay in one?)
- very beautiful sightseeing of the surroundings
- family owned giving excellent service: always helpful, home-made food, etc
- beyond the hotel, the town is super nice with a lot of atmosphere (we were greatly surprised!)

Best restaurant in the town!

Albergo caratteristico nel centro di Sarteano, trasformato in albergo da un vecchio monastero. L'ambiente è molto accogliente arredato con gusto con mobili antichi. Molto confortevole e silenzioso. Il giardino è molto bello con meravigliosa terrazza con splendida veduta sulla vallata e laghi. I proprietari sono gentilissimi con un'attenzione particolare del signor Giorgio che è molto simpatico e cordiale. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, come essere a casa...

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel che fa respirare aria di casa....Giorgio e la sua signora sono stati gentili e accoglienti ,facendomi gustare un ottima cena !!! Tutto bello!

Di una bellezza e di un fascino incredibile, il tutto corredato dalla gentilezza, d'altri tempi, dei proprietari, con un ottima cucina gestita in famiglia.

Le camere sono giustamente minimal (è un ex convento), cmq pulite e con tutto il necessario.
La vista è stupenda e il giardino interno molto carino! Merita sicuramente di passarci una notte!

Location d'eccezione + ottima cucina toscana + clima familiare ed accogliente. Una combinazione difficile da trovare altrove e per questo merita il massimo dei voti per un soggiorno estivo di 7 gg con la mia famiglia a Sarteano.

La difficoltà di arrivare con l'auto a causa dei vicoli del centro storico è compensata dal servizio di trasporto offerto dalla struttura e poi a pensarci bene rende la location ancora più tranquilla e particolare.

Una experiencia inolvidable. Un lugar mágico con los mejores anfitriones. Giorgio y su esposa hacen que el viaje por la Toscana sea inmejorable.

Albergo con un fascino vintage, invidiabile posizione panoramica e una tranquillità impagabile. Il titolare una persona squisita che si mette a disposizione e ti fa sentire a casa .... consigliatissimo !

Siamo stati qui a cena. Una cena meravigliosa. Senza parole, davvero. La location mozza il fiato, dalla torretta si gode di una vista bellissima sulla campagna circostante. Il cibo è superlativo, e il prezzo è stato sorprendentemente contenuto. Il personale è giovane e simpatico, e anche questo aggiunge valore. Un posto imperdibile.
