Il Pozzo

Went to il Pozzo today. Not to the clothing store side but to the little jewelry shop next to it (inside the “cove”). The gentleman in the shop had so many pretty things but I came home with a gem! I got this beautiful cameo and feel supremely lucky to have found it.

We went in this quaint little shop in Lake Como area of Varenna looking for souvenir options. The usual lady at the shop was ill and she had entrusted the shop to an older man. I've never expected to see such Southern Hospitality in Northern Italy. He gave us tour suggestions, and even flagged down a Boat Rental Owner when we said we were thinking about taking a boat. His kind attitude made us want to return to the shop as soon as possible. It has so many souvenir options - shirts, purses, Jewlery, and decor. Make sure to stop in.

Picked up an umbrella during a downpour and the shop owner was very sweet and helpful.

Nice souvenir shop with many different items. The Lady is producing lovely jewellery right in the shop! Very friendly! Nice choice of postcards.

Sehr freundliche Besitzerin, nimmt sich viel Zeit für euch und berät euch kompetent und unaufdringlich (sie erklärt dir gerne, woher welcher Artikel stammt und kennt sich sehr gut aus).Sehr schöner Laden mit wunderschönen Taschen, Tüchern, Kleidung und Hüten. Ich habe eine tolle Tasche gekauft aus Milano!

Ho acquistato una collana dei chakra: le pietre sono fantastiche, e hanno una bellissima energia; la signora in cassa, che le produce, è gentile e disponibile. È stata così carina da allargarmi la collana e regalarmi una piccola ametista; da turista queste sono le piccole belle cose che ti fanno venire voglia di tornare!
