One of the newer facilities in Oludeniz is the cable car system up the mountain.

Previously, the only way up was a series of narrow roads and hairpin bends. (You can still use some of these as part of an organised trail run.)

Be aware that the car park is about 150 metres away from the main building. There is an electric shuttle bus that runs a regular service between the two. Note that taxis will drop outside the building, but you need to go to the car park to get one back.

The ticket office is outside the building, and the entrance just to the side. In the foyer is a diorama of the mountain, and escalators and a lift to the floor where the cable car starts.

The actual cable car is in two parts; the first goes to 1500 metres, where you can get out to go to a rather expensive restaurant, or stay on board to go to 1700 metres.

Each car is a bubble with amazing all around views, and will carry up to 8 people.

At the 1700 metre height, you'll find the first paraglider launch pad; and it looks like the most popular. I estimated between 30 and 50 launches per hour. Some were individuals, but about half were tandems.

There is another restaurant at this point, so you can sit in comfort watching the launches.

You can carry on up the mountain, using a ski style chair lift. It's easy to use, and there is an operator who keeps an eye on things.

At 1800 metres, there is the second launch platform which goes in a different direction. However, it's up a set of stairs or a steep ramp, so not so good for anyone with mobility issues.

At this height, there is a Burger House, that overlooks the launch pad at 1700 metres.

About 100 metres away, there is the final part of the system, another chair lift that takes you up to the highest part of the mountain and the launch pad at 1900 metres.

Views all the way up are astonishing, and well worth the effort of going up. The cost of the cable car is very acceptable; if you're in the area, it's worth making the time to visit.

The best view of Oludeniz from above! Also to watch parachutes take off!
There is a cable car service available to take to the top of the mountain.
There is four stops to the top of the mountain. You can stop at each point and admire the views. There is also different food place at every stop which you can check from their official website.
The ticket purchased for the cable car allows you to stop at each point then return back to base.
I would strongly advise to NOT drive to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately no one warned us and we took the road instead of the cable car. The road is very dangerous with no rails on the side. The road is not in good condition and broken leading straight off the cliff!
Also the minibuses for the parachutes drive at high speed with no consideration for other cars! They make the drive even more dangerous.
There also isn’t a place to park your car at the top. You need to leave your car by the side of the road and space isn’t guaranteed at all!
It simply isn’t worth taking the risk plus I’m sure you would get better views with the cable cars.

The most beautiful mountain peak I have ever seen. Peaks at 2000ft. Looks over Ölüdeniz, Fetihye, and what's looks to be as far as Dalaman, the Agean Sea, Rhodes and Ulyk Tepe. Beautiful at sunset. Beautiful colours that bounce off of the water. There are restraunts and places to get drinks to at the top. The paragliders jump from the top. The views are magnificent and very romantic. A modern cable cart to the top, from the terminal, is 300 TYL per person. I would 100% recommend this visit even if it's one of the only excursions you do while in the area. Can get a bit chilly of you go late or out of season due to the natural elements. There is security who are very helpful and are good at keeping the tourists and attraction safe.

I've visited Babadağ Mountain twice and both times, the scooter rides up and down were absolutely amazing!
The breathtaking views, lush greenery, and vibrant flowers were a feast for the eyes. I even encountered wild goats expertly navigating the slopes, which truly connected me to the region's raw beauty.
Babadağ is a must-visit for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts!

Beautiful views and a fun ride on the chair lift. The best part is watching the paraglides take off.

Definitely a must visit place for all Fethiye and oludeniz visitors !!!

Amazing cable car experience (It might not be suitable for people who suffer Acrophobia).

The restaurant on the mountain gives magnificent view on Fethiye and Oludeniz I haven't tried it though.

They sell ice-cream, donuts and other sweets.

You can watch the preparation process and the launching of paragliders.

Highly recommended.

Possibly the most spectacular paragliding spot in the world. The ride up the mountain takes some 30 minutes and can be a bit scary but it's worth it. The temperature up the mountain is chill (around 20-23 degrees) but thanks to sunny weather a simple tshirt will br sufficient. There are bathrooms and a restaurant. Now just choose the right agency and go for the jump of your life!

Worth to visit during sunset. Mesmerizing view on mountains around Oludeniz and Fethiye.

Cable car to 1700m costs 80 liras round trip. And after it’s 15-20 minutes to walk to the summit of Babadag. Because another section of cable car was not yet working.

Make sure that your driver is experienced to drive to the top. It is very steep! Breathtaking views once on top. I believe there is a certain fee to get into the top. 30-40mins drive from the entrance. Came here to paraglide. AMAZING.

Beautiful national park and spectacular view

One of the most beautiful places you can visit during your stay in Fethiye, Turkey. The road up the mountain is a bit scary because it’s really narrow and has no fencing. Still you can enjoy amazing views. The scenery changes several times during the ascent. When you reach the top you can see the mountain chain and the sea. It’s breathtaking!

Soon the cable road will be opened and everyone will be able to enjoy the view from the top without the necessity to ride the scary road.

Highly recommend to visit!

Babadag is a dream spot for any paraglider for its stunning views over the mountains, the bay and Oludeniz beach. There is a hiking trail about 11-12 km long to get here for those who are in love with active lifestyle, and there is easier way to get here by car. I didn't see any busses coming, except the busses orginized by the paragliding companies. And if you decide to fly in tandem with the paraglider it is better to book the flight when you are on the land, cause once you are at the top, all of them are already booked, normally. + there is a great restaurant with the view, although it was closed during virus times, so it is better to double check if it works. And (!!!) there are #ACCESSIBLE roads and paths on the top of the mountain which makes it even more pleasant to visit! There is also a cable car under contstuction, so let's hope it will be opened to public asap. PS Best time to enjoy the view is in the evening with the sun hiding over the horizon in the sea!!!

Booked it with a local firm in Olu Deniz... while the site was fully operational there are a lot of improvement workers going on at the top so it will get bigger and better.

A lovely experience overall and will worth doing if you have the time. You will get some gorgeous views as you come down and if you like a thrill - ask your you glider and they will be happy to throw in some Ariel acrobatics... bear in mind that you will lose height quicker and therefore shorten the overall journey.

Absolutely stunning views at sunset. Crowds are avoidable if you keep going up up up. Didn’t expect all of these views when buying the ticket, but surely worth it.

Must visit by the cable car which is even quite expensive. You will have view both of Ölüdeniz and Fethiye at the same time!
Tip: try to get there in sunset time.
