I recently stayed at the Garcia Resort & Spa in Ölüdeniz, Turkey, and it was a delightful experience that blended comfort, luxury, and breathtaking natural beauty. Lovely hotel with great selection of food throughout the day.
Drinks, beer and bottled cocktails evening entertainment always fun.
Like other reviews some of the rooms are a little tired (see the shower pic) plus they've got to get rid of the covid stickers ... such a depressing reminder of horrible times.

Yes we would rebook

We stayed here for 10 days and found the place to be really nice, we could always find something to eat most meals but breakfast tended to be a bit lacking for our tastes. Over all a wonderful stay, the hotel as a whole would benefit from a bit of a refresh but it's nothing too bad. I was under the impression the rooms would have drinks in but all they provide is water. There's a 24 hour bar in the lounge area if you need anything else.

Before I visited I had read a lot of horrendous reviews but I can assure you this place is fine and you'll have a wonderful holiday. It's not perfect but it's certainly good enough.

An absolute gem

Had a very peaceful relaxing holiday in the clean tranquil Garcia hotel.
Staff and hotel manager Gorkem were polite and if required went the extra mile to meet our needs.
If there could be one downside it would the distance from the beach. However the hotel makes up for this with four swimming pools and numerous bars.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my partner and it was lovely. The entertainment team was amazing and so helpful. Amazing location incredible views. Easy access to beach and town. Good food. Very friendly. Very clean rooms and pools. Would really recommend.

Amazing location with incredible views! I appreciate the efforts of the staff enormously, they went above and beyond to cater to my needs, they are so friendly and helpful for this I will forever be grateful. I also booked a package deal for the spa which was so relaxing, the women here are exceptionally good at their jobs and their character overall add to the peaceful environment. For the food it is self service and they provide a range with multilingual labels which I think is great. There is a lot of different facilities within the hotel. The beach is a short travel from the hotel as is the cable car and a local town.

Room was lovely and beautiful scenery from our balcony. Inconsistencies with house keeping staff and often used items were not replenished. Bathroom was fine but often smelled unpleasant. Location was brilliant and food was very nice. Pleasant staff although some seemed unsure and lacking in confidence, maybe new? The gym was basic setup and could do with air conditioning fitting and a good clean. Lots of dirt, dust and debris around equipment through lack of sweeping. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Taxi service great, push the button and they arrive at the entrance. Shop is very expensive but I suppose that's to be expected in a hotel. Would we go back....yes without hesitation. Lovely resort and destination.

Absolutely STUNNING

I went to this hotel in June last year and it was the best hotel I have ever been to. The food tasted like heaven. The pools were PERFECT and the experience was awesome. I’ve been to many hotels (all in Turkey) and none of them takes garcias spot. :)

There have been mixed reviews on this site which vary greatly so I thought I would give you my take on the holiday experience at Garcia. There are many positives to this hotel but let’s address the elephant that keeps popping it’s head up. It is listed as a 5 star but I would rate it as a 4 star. Here are the positives

The hotel location, built into a pine forest mountain (BabaDag) over views overlooking Oludeniz bay is without a doubt 5 star plus.

The rooms booked (family with interconnecting rooms and a lounge area was beautifully kitted out and the biggest I have had previously with a matching gigantic balcony complete with lounge furniture. Cleaners were brilliant and gave us a selection of smellies , new towels every day and stocked the free selections of water/mineral water in the fridge

Gardens. We kept and beautifully full of colour

Layout : it’s built into a mountain so the compromise of outstanding scenery and views is that it is built in layers, 6 in total with the pool and snack area on the lower levels, restaurant, reception and lounge areas on upper three. There are a lot of stairs but also many lifts. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the physically infirm. However for it was a chance to work off those desserts.

Customer service: great welcome, waiters are attentive, friendly and polite. Cleaners were brilliant

Services: 6 pools, slides, Hamam, steam room, sauna, jaquzi, were free to use and massage services at an extra cost. Fresh towels given every day for use at poolside. A selection of shops, hairdressers, dentist

Food and drink: the restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch, dinner and 11pm soup The food is varied and tasty including vegetarian/ vegan options and a wonderful salad bar. They organised a couple of theme cuisine a few times also. The snack bar which is located by the swimming pools cater from 12-4 and offer a variety of pizzas, burgers, chips, sandwiches etc for those who don’t want to leave the pool. It’s junk food but a big hit with the kids. The snack bar also doubles up as a pub and offers a huge assortment of local drinks, cocktails and non alcoholic drinks.

There are a couple negatives which I feel I should point out. There are areas which require a bit of uplift and it seems they have spend their maintenance budget elsewhere. A little bit of tender care will sort this out, but it evident especially in the high usage areas. It did t seem to bother me that much but I was aware of it and thought it let the hotel down somewhat. It’s the small attention to detail that customers notice and hotel owners think we don’t.

Overall. Great break and happy with the hotel. Didn’t get the 5 * service but I didn’t pay a 5* price either so I have no complaints really.

We stood in this hotel for our honeymoon. Service drinks and food were great. There are fun activities every day and night. Chill place for families and couples. Rooms are clean and being cleaned every day. Really nice sauna and steam rooms and indoor pool. You must try the a la carte restaurant too, food was absolutely delightful.

What a lovely place to enjoy our family holiday! Room is clean, big and spacious. The views from the balcony is
breath taking. Management and staff are all nice, very polite, very helpful and love the smile on their faces everytime they ask us if we need help or need anything. Food, you have loads of choices. You will not be hungry. There is the pool bar and lounge area(24/7) for drinks. There are so many negative feedback from this hotel before we fly which scared me but from our very first night, I couldn't be happy and pleased enough with the place and service. Money is well spent. Come and enjoy! X

Lovely place to stay surrounded by forests and 5 minutes from the beach.

Hotel is absolutely amazing! Great location, not too far away from anything. Clean and not a bad selection of food. Entertainment is great too, different every night. Staff are all very helpful and friendly especially Eylem and Emine in the lounge bar, two very lovely, kind and friendly staff, an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you for a lovely holiday, memories made for a life time!!! Would highly recommend here. Great for couples as well as families.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel may 2022, Staff are all welcoming & helpful, food is amazing especially the pool bar menu. We upgraded to a swimup room for myself and 2 children and it was absolutely fantastic. I also upgraded my daughter & her boyfriend to a jacuzzi room they loved it.
The views are just beautiful, the facilities are brilliant the entertainment was great, all in all I would highly recommend this hotel. I liked it that much I've re-booked a week here from 29th September.
