Lived here for two years and only just stumbled upon this place. What a fabulous bar!!
It’s difficult to get to and off the beaten track and that’s what adds to the attraction. Just getting there was an adventure 😅 The tide was up so we had to wade up to our waists and follow the music through a mangrove forest. Fabulous!
The sunset was glorious and the host, Julius has a great sense of humour.
Will definitely be returning many times 😎

Hidden spot in the mangroves perfect for sunset drinks and later you can lose yourself in time on the sandy dance floor or just chill on the deck and watch the stars. The owners have created a magical place there... thank you!

Amazing place where to have cocktails or beers and watch the sunset! It is pretty hidden in the woods, which makes it special! If you come here, you should go check out the mangrove forest that is just behind it. Super beautiful!

I absolutely love this place! The bar has excellent DJs who know how to create an upbeat and energetic atmosphere. The music is always on point, and the energy in the bar is infectious. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset, let loose and dance the night away with friends or strangers.
Beyond the unique ambiance and great music, the owners are amazing people who take pride in their bar and genuinely care about their customers. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming environment and make sure everyone is having a good time. It's hard to find such sincere and caring owners in the hospitality industry, and it makes the experience at the mangrove bar even more special ❤

A very special venue in the middle of the beautiful mangroves in Zanzibar. The owners and team are super friendly. I have several times for drinks and enjoyed myself every time. Highly recommend

You can only walk here at low tide. Staff will help guide you out or call a boat when tide gets high.

Nice place in the mangrove forests. Some time back there were just trees but now there is this beach bar and it is nice to spend even a whole day there.

I ended up there for lunch 3 days ago and stayed until the sunset. I returned yesterday for drinks and today for lunch again...Love this place, no hussle, no stress.
