Bank of Grain Valley

I've been a customer here for 37 years and cannot remember one bad experience.

Seventeen-year customer. Impeccable service. First-rate staff. I would recommend Bank of Grain Valley to everyone.

I take my Mother-in-law here. We use the drive thru. I was very impressed when the teller wanted to male sure my Mother-in-law was with me. I told her thank you for checking.❤

It's a bank that does what banks do I don't know what else to say other than the staff are nice

My mother had an account with this bank. She is now in a nursing home and has dementia. My sister has Power of Attorney and was told that she would have to go to court and get guardianship of our mother, because the bank wouldn’t recognize Power of Attorney! It took over 2 1/2 hours to close the account when we were told it would it would take 30 minutes!!!

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would!
I came in respectful smile on my face to cash a check I received and ran into a horrible encounter/experience
Horrible & I mean HORRIBLE customer service. Somebody needs to be retrained on how to act and speak to customers; The older lady with glasses was very rude and very unprofessional and this is coming from someone that works in banking industry. Also we are in 2023 the fact that this bank is operating like it’s in the 70s is ridiculous, it should never take 25+ minutes for a check from somebody that banks at YOUR bank to be cashed. It’s also very unprofessional to have somebody waiting while you go work on other peoples paperwork without any knowledge of what’s going on. You don’t just up and leave your customer without notice. Older lady with glasses and younger girl with light brown hair were very unprofessional, i would NEVER suggest this bank to anybody! Also when somebody cashes a check you count the money back to them not just put it in a paper envelope. Pull cameras if needed, proof will be there for you

Horrible customer service tried to get a savings account and they was haggling an old man in front of me so I took my business some where else and I would highly recommend not to go to this bank they manage your money for you

Stay clear they try to run there customers account and tell you what to do.
