54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar

The food is delicious! They’ve been down for a renovation, but the only difference I see is the seating. Our food was delicious and the server was very attentive. Glad they’re back open! I gave 4 stars because it’s all one room and was pretty loud at first.

Showed up for dinner with my wife on a crazy busy night and the waitstaff did awesome making sure our cups weren't empty and that everything was good. I even pulled an anxious last minute switch-up on my side and the waiter was super cool about making sure I got what I wanted. I can't remember his name, unfortunately. Overall the restaurant was clean, the food was great, the staff was on it.

If you want good food and great service, this place is always on point. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I had the 8 Oz sirloin steak, and it came out med as requested, which I had no doubt in. My husband got to the devils den burger, which he loves, and also came out the way he wanted it. The tequila wrappers were outstanding as well. I get regular ranch on the side, but the sauce that comes with it is super good as well. Great bloody Mary's, they serve them with Demetrius mix and titos vodka. This will forever be my favorite go to place.

Changed the name only. Employees mostly remain the same. Highly recommend the food and service. Waiters are very friendly and do a great job of checking on your needs throughout your stay

This was recommended to us by the hotel receptionist. So we thought we'd give it a try as we like to try local establishments. We drove up and the parking lot was full so that tells us a lot already. Not having been here I asked a couple who was waiting as we were what they recommended. They said you can't really go wrong. We ordered crab cakes for an appetizer. They were better than what we had on the Florida coast. Fish tacos were very good, though the rice was a bit dry. The menu is so diverse it was hard to choose! We definitely would return if we are in the area again.

We went in for our first time this evening and were pleasantly surprised. Great food, friendly attentive staff. Loved that even though it is a bar the music was NOT blasting like at so many other places. We will be back for sure. Be sure to try the potato kegs they are amazing. I had the scallops and shrimp with the ancient grains it was cooked perfectly and my husband had a club sandwich. His comment was this is one of the best I have had here in the Midwest.

Lots of tasty menu items to choose from - something for everyone. The servers were helpful, but not overly helpful which was nice and allowed for a great conversation with friends and family. Appetizer/Entree items ran about $5-10 and portion sizes were more than adequate as you can see from the pictures.

I'm not sure how you do it all so well but what ever your secret is, please keep it up! Seriously, my Chicken Fried Chicken dinner with cream gravy (offered on the side cuz I requested a lot), homemade coleslaw and substituted Texas toast instead of a dinner roll... was sooo good that I stopped talking completely. So good that I grabbed our waitress for a side of BBQ beans with ham chunks and it too, was heavenly! My taste buds were in TREAT mode.
Truly, service, surroundings, food quality, cleanliness, and value for money were ALL 5*+. Noone in Blue Springs, Missouri does it better!

My family has been frequenting 54th for almost 10 years. Only a couple of times have we been disappointed. All in all that's an excellent record. Oh, and I've never witnessed any workers talking on cells or I would definitely say something to the manager.

Update March 21, 2018. Tonight was an extraordinary treat at 54th. Our waiter, Jeb, who has served patrons there for 5 years, was exceptional. My BFF and I decided to split a Nachos Supreme. Not only did he have the kitchen split it for us, he made hers a chicken, mine a beef. Hers with jalapenos, mine without... on two separate plates, without any fuss. Service with a smile! When asked why he was so willing, he was quick to respond, "We gladly do whatever the customer wants, your happiness come first!" Wow, perfect! Our food came quickly and it was absolutely delicious! And their happy hour is not to be missed. We both devoured a wine/fruit drink which was out of this world... in a HUGE glass, for only $1.99. How do they do it?
Lastly, Chris, the manager came to our table to ask if we were enjoying our meal. I explained I was a GOOGLE GUIDE and asked if he would use my phone to take pics of his awesome kitchen. Attached are the results. Folks, the people that serve at this restaurant are the best of the best when it comes to pleasing their patrons. Don't miss out on the opportunity of letting them treat you like a queen (or king)!!!

I really enjoy going to 54th St. They treat everyone with such good respect. I've been to several, and they all have the same standards!
My only complaint with this one was the seating. Our table was in an awkward layout. And it was hard for people to get around .

Great happy hour food that runs about $7 for tequila wrappers, boneless chicken wings, crabcakes, sliders and more. Also drink specials. Happy hour is 3 to 6 and 9 to close.

I got the Prime rib French dip sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy delivered by doordash. It was soo good, mmmmmm *chefs kiss. I'm going to check this place out now in person, might have found my next regular food place...

Was a great spot to eat with my daughter. We wanted something light but in a friendly atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We tried tge 1/2 Turkey sanswich and salad. Whith with the summer heat, was perfect... Thank you for taking care of us...

Great place to eat, the waiter, Orlando was really nice always checking on us and carrying on conversation with us, the food was great!

This is a great location and we had a great meal. Our sever was top notch. We have not been to a 54th Street in quite some time and they have made some nice improvements. They have a list of standard sides to choose from rather than serving all sandwiches with fries. I got my gyro with grilled asparagus and there was no upcharge. I will come back for that asparagus! So delicious and only 80 calories !

Our server was amazing! Constantly making sure we had full drinks. I've never had service that good there before. I believe his name was Dylan S. I could be wrong on last name initial but definitely was Dylan! Food was amazing thanks to the cooks who were there today!

Love love love this restaurant! Excellent service, food and drinks! Huge selection to choose from, definitely something for everyones taste. The food is fresh and tastes delicious, and the prices are very fair! Happy hour has specials as well. The drinks are large and in charge! I had the Painkiller and a margarita , both were yummy and left me feeling good😁 service is top notch! From the time you enter to the time you leave , you are taken care of. We didnt wait 1 minute for our drinks to be refilled, food came out timely and the bonus for the night.....the manager Josh came out, greeted each table and asked us all how our food and service was!! Find that anywhere else! That speaks A LOT about a restaurant when the manager has that much confidence to come out and talk to his customers!!

Great food. Love this place. Tonight was salad night for my husband and myself. I had chicken salad with berries, and he had the chicken ceasar.

54th st is a wonderful place to dine with friends and family, Great service!! Atmosphere is fun and entertaining. I loved the gyro and the artichoke pasta is soooo good
