City of Grain Valley

My daughter this morning dropped her AirPods down our storm drain (gutter drain) this morning so I called the city (sewer department) and she sent someone right out! He was here in 10 mins and went right in and got her AirPods for her. It is about to rain today and we are SO SO grateful for the man who came out quickly and for the lady being so helpful and able to assist us. Thank you to the city of grain valley for always being helpful and caring for the citizens of your city 🥰

I just wanted to say THANK YOU! We were getting a Above Ground pool installed and had no clue of the Process. Each time I called no matter which dept they went beyond their job duties to ensure I knew what was need and required. Process went smoothly from packet info, permit, Help from water dept when it was time to fill, and Inspection. Thank you Again!

We own a fence company and work with the city quite a bit on permits and they are always very helpful, prompt and efficient.

Easy access

If you're going for court traffic tickets or minor offenses it's pretty straightforward and not overly intensive than it needs to be. Just get in line and don't get out of line lol. If you arrive early; the judge usually accommodates simple determinations from the entry's clerk window; alleviating and eliminating the need to walk in the courtroom.

The water Department will hurry out to shut your water off, but I guess they all will go out to a fancy lunch on that $140.00 we owed you, then conviently take their sweet time turing it back on! I have lived here for 4 YEARS, and this is the first time this has EVER happened, let me be the first to say they have 0 sympathy, considering I pay my bills, and this literally was a mistake! Anyone thinking of buying a home here, DONT!

Zero help and zero sympathy what so ever. We've lived here for almost two years, we've only been late a few times. If you have a catastrophic event happen in your life don't expect them to be helpful. I'd suggest some costumer service training, because they are severally lacking in that department.
