We got there just as they were closing, they were sold out of almost everything. We were able to get a half slab of ribs, smoked turkey, baked beans, pasta salad, Mac and cheese and some buns. The best bbq sauce. Coming from California we haven’t had this kind of bbq and the service was amazing. Mark and Carolyn

Love this BBQ treasure! Having been let down on so many KC BBQ Restaurants, this place will definitely get you hooked! The ham and brisket are addictive…the brisket is so lean and taste amazing, I was totally surprised by their delicious meatloaf sandwich. Delicious flavor and texture, then grilled on the smoker… SO good. They have delicious desserts, love the pineapple upside down cake, and brownies.
Don’t forget to order some meat by the pound to take home later… can’t wait to try the ribs on our next visit! Worth the drive, and enjoy the scenery on the way there!

Came here with a large motorcycle group from out of town.
They served us fast and there was plenty of motorcycle parking in front.
Pulled pork and beans were great!

Wow. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. My 1st time and the ribs were amazing. Excellent meat quality and the flavor was perfect. My wife had the brisket and said it was 5 star.

After talking about this place for the 100th time I figured I better leave a review, came here my first time a couple weeks ago, I've never been huge on BBQ, but I ordered some Burnt ends and a half slab of ribs and when I tell you it was the best damn BBQ I ever had in my life I mean it. Had to go back the next day for more. Highly highly recommend this place!!!!!!!

In the land of BBQ there are many recipes...a few special places feel like a home meal from start to finish. Porky's looks and feels like grandpa's cabin and smells like his smoker. Everything has that distinct flavor from time, patience and developed flavors. Family/local owned & operated, and truly worth visiting!

Clear your day and don't wear a belt. You'll need all the room and time to digest these meat works of art.

Porky's is old school bbq with a modern twist. It is worth a drive to give it a try. They have one of my favorite spicy sauces.

I would first like to say this is one of the most underrated spots in KC. The ribs are just as good as any!! With that said I would like to show a little recognition to Scotty and the staff today. A lady fell off some steps today just outside the restaurant ( I will be praying for this individual as she was successfully pickup from the ambulance) I notice something was going on outside as I saw Scottie and his staff attend attention to the individual. The fact I saw urgency from the owner and wonderful staff to help another human being is priceless. Dropping whatever they were doing to attend this individual. I respect I have for them, caring and going above and beyond to help the individual is something we don’t see anymore. This is a great place to eat and it’s made by people who put others 1st. I just just want to applaud and show some recognition.

I grew up in KC and these are the best ribs I've ever had! Potato salad is the bomb...even better than mine and that's sayin' something! This is a must try!

Bright red cheery barn looking exterior. Smells of smoked meat beckon you inside. Clean, bright, contemporary grays blend with country decor. Tables large and well spaced. Paper towel rolls on the table. Country music piped in. Order at counter. Fast service! Ribs are perfect. Dark crust, tender on teeth, pink color on meat. Sauce on side. The pulled pork sandwich had some kind sweet clear liquid on the meat. Wasn't too keen on that. Would rather just have barbecue sauce. Sauce served on the side with the sandwich also. The beans were good, but honestly, I'm not leaving home for the sides. It's the meat!
