Some of the best food I've ever had, hands down. My food didn't take long to come out, the staff was super nice, and it was cheap for all that I got. Absolutely going here again

So good. It's always a great sign when grandma walks out of the kitchen, especially when looking for excellent authentic Mexican food!

We literally stumbled onto this restaurant while looking for another (that was closed for the holiday). The menu is short but excellent. I didn't know a bean and rice burrito could taste so good! My husband had his burrito with meat but they made mine vegan for me without batting an eye. The food was great, WAY better than Chipotle. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms. Absolute serendipity to have found this place.

I've been coming here almost every Tuesday for around 6-8 years now. Their food is great, definitely an authentic taco place, they have a deal every Tuesday, 1.00$ tacos! Their tacos are small but still very tasty and filling. I love their Tortas and tostadas too.

I was in town for an event, and randomly picked this place for lunch. I'm glad I did - the chips and salsa were amazing, and my steak tacos were the best I've had in a very long time.

This place was really good. There was a small menu (which is fine by me!), and this place was a one man show. He took our orders, and made our food in just a few minutes...and this place was full!! Pretty impressive! I had street tacos and the kids had burritos. All very good!

Excellent food! Make it just right for you by ordering as many tacos as you need. The price is extremely reasonable! Clean and lovely atmosphere. 12/10 would move in here. Service is very nice and efficient.
Really though. Is there room in the basement? I can scrub floors.

I have had street tacos in Mexico, California, and Texas.... These are better. My family will order 30 and they will be gone in no time. Even my 4 year old will put them down. Don't pass this place with out getting some amazing food.

This was as good as anything I have had in old Mexico, and even just north of the border at my favorite places in Los Fresnos/Brownsville, TX. I really like the small cafe feel. The staff was great when we were there. Tacos seem.to be their specialty. I should mention that the food here is very authentic. We will certainly be returning, probably often.

Tostada's all were very tasty good service and friendly fairly quick it seems to be very busy from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm fountain drinks Mexican waters and sodas available I recommend swing by if you are ever near by or in Emporia Ks

If you have not eaten at El Marmol, you are missing out. Street tacos and papusas, beans and rice are so good. And I would venture to say the cleanest restaurant in Emporia. That place is spotless every time I go. If you haven't been, get there for lunch today.

If you live in emporia you have no reason to not eat here. Absolutely delicious and authentic food, every bite makes you want more. They're super fast, especially when you call ahead. Perfect for taco cravings.

I always order to eat there bc they give you fresh hot chips and yummy salsa. I order pupusas every time. They are delish and great value for the price! We'll definitely go back.

Stopped on our way through Emporia. It was a wonderful delight! Authentic tasting mexican food, to include a Salvadorian pork rind and cheese dish, street tacos, HUGE burritos and quesadillas, creamy delicious beans, free salsa and chips, and Mexico bottled sodas in many fruit flavors. My new place to eat on road trips through Emporia!!

Best tacos in Emporia. Fast friendly prompt service. Certainly one of the more authentic Taquerias in the area. If you like spicy try the red sauce.

I wish El Marmol could offer a low salt alternative for their beans and taco fillings. I'd pay extra for that. Please let me know if this is possible.

I'm not from Emporia but will stop here again on my next return. The pupusa with cortido was freshly made and a very authentic delightful taste, well prepared.
