Flying J Travel Center

I stopped on my way back home from a trip to relatives. It was around 6:30 pm or so and I ordered some breakfast. Had an item called Benedict Southern Style. A nice bed of toast smothered with diced ham and bacon covered by two eggs over easy smothered by a rich creamy hollandaise sauce. Next to it was a nice slab of hash browns. My server’s name was Paige and the service was excellent as was the food! If you find yourself in the area you should stop and try something.

Good place for a quick stop while you are traveling. This place has fresh coffee and friendly staff. I wish the restrooms were bit bigger. But other than that well maintained place.

This is my preferred pitstop for my drive between Topeka & Wichita. Huddle House restaurant connected. I travel with my dog but not other people. They allow me to bring my service dog into the restroom with me & don't give me an attitude about it. Little gas station deli inside also. Large selection at the self-serve foundation drink area & coffee bar.

This is an awesome place because the people are kind and the food was just delicious. The two women closing took time to care for tired hungry travellers. I appreciate that care and yes those pink earrings were so cute! Thank you 😊 ladies.

Awesome employees but no pizza when I arrived:(

One of my favorite Flying J's. Good food, easy access from the freeways, friendly staff, clean showers and toilets, no major litter issues, and good wifi! Not too many paid spots, but enough that you can get one if you know you're stopping here and want to guarantee a spot. Wish it was a little bigger, though: people parking in improvised spots after the marked spaces are full can make it difficult to maneuver, especially if you're trying to get back to the scale for a re-weigh.

Stopped in for gas and a bite to eat. Self serve soup was fantastic! Thank you flying J for filling my belly! Ps mixing the soups is the way to go. I mixed minestrone and potato to get potatestrone. Yum!

The owners of this truck stop have to pay a large salary to their employees. Excellent discussion and attitude to the client. Professionals work here. I recommend.

Well stocked & clean. It's a good place to stop on your way through Emporia when you're avoiding the Turnpike.

Restrooms were very clean. Store had large variety of items. There was a restaurant also but we didn't visit it.

Stopped here for gas during a road trip... they also had diesel and designed truck pumps.

Great! I always love the servive there. Clean restrooms especially recently but I'm a little concerned about the water on the floor in front of your drink fountain also Josh that works there was very friendly and I enjoyed the cashier I can't remember her name. She has red hair and a nice smile

I want to thank for the honesty of the guy who cleans the shower, thank you for returning my earrings. It's great when there are honest people! 👍

I Always go to Flying J's. They Always have Great prices on gas, and Clean showers (For the most part). Their Friendly Associates and the atmosphere is very nice. They have Good eats for people passing threw. And for the road warriors it is very accessible to the interstate and Plenty of parking for everyone.

Now if the huddle house was as nice as guy working fuel desk who joked with me about change for a 20 .
and had hot good food that was fit to eat. This Truck Stop would be good. I'll NEVER ever EAT IN RESTAURANT AGAIN. PERSONAL IN TRUCK STOP WAS GREAT. SHOWER WAS GREAT. ATTENDANT FOR SHOWERS WAS REALLY GOOD AND NICE.
BUT DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY IN RESTAURANT.

We always use this as a bathroom, lunch, gas and coffee break on our Kansas travels. Parking lot works great to keep the traffic flow moving. Split the trucking and standard vehicles to not have to maneuver around one another. The food specials in the service station are great but the restaurant is even better! Gas is always fairly priced along with all the beverages and random sales too.

I've been here once while traveling. I dream of going back but for one thing...Pizza. The pizza was perfect. I often think that this gas station is a gift from heaven to serve the world a delicious slice of the God's dough and sauce. Forget New York or Chicago, this is the world's best pizza.

This one gets five stars just for being in the right place at the right time. I was almost out of fuel and needed a Pilot/Flying J for company reasons. My low fuel warning light had been on for 50+ miles. I was never so happy to see a truck stop before. It looked really good as well

Wyatt, is very professional for as busy as he was tonight and ALL the people wanting his attention every different direction I was very impressed with his patience and desire to help. Thank you for a timely and professional service. When only 2 staff members on duty and 100's of drivers/customers coming in and out you guys did great.

A mid morning pit stop as we returned home from Iowa. The dining facility located inside provide our brunch. The staff were quick to take our order and our food was delivered double quick. The food was great and the staff very cordial!
