Small but dense museum in Cram Science Hall at Emporia State University. Walk into the southwest corner of the building and there is a layout of the building on the wall. It's right on the first floor but you could walk right past it if you weren't paying attention.

The focus is on rocks and fossils from Kansas. One focus is on the particularly good collection of fossils from an area near Hamilton, Kansas, with fossils of everything from plants to insects to amphibians. There are also displays on various rock formations and minerals.
