Spangles

Pretty dang good. Yes, they really serve alcohol at a fast food place (maybe that's my naivety showing). The burgers were fast food quality, nothing bad, but not a "write home to mom" burger either. Their prices are great. You get a lot of food. I can't remember what it was called, but it was ice cream with chocolate and cherry that was amazing. I will stop next time we go out there.

Great All American Experience is all in at this place with an extra smile from Andrew and his team! Check out there diverse menu including the “Classic American Meal” for a few bucks, you get a burger, fries, a fountain drink and wait for it even a desert, whaaaaa! Yep, if you are simply passing by or staying, swing by and enjoy what they can offer and please say hi to our new friend Andrew and his team! Andrew even advertised there Spangles mini donuts on how great they are and believe me they were not a disappointed. Mmmmmmm good! Great to see that you can still enjoy a nice meal with some cool tunes as well. I’ll give you a hint, thank you, thank you very much!

A Kansas only, family owned, fast food, burger and fry, drive thru with a diner feel. Breakfast lunch, dinner, desserts and even alcohol. Yes, margaritas are available. It's a Kansas version of Whataburger but better in my opinion. Wish they had a Kansas City location with Winsteads dying out. Worth the stop.

Arrived near closing time, one gal working both the counter and window, a brief wait. The food was hot, fresh, delicious, and the shake was perfect. The store and lit clean

We were just stopping through for a quick meal on our way back home. We did have to wait for our food. Definitely, worth the wait.
My kids needed an extra container and went inside to get one. They offered them a free ice cream! Very sweet staff

Came all the way down from Minneapolis to enjoy this bit if heaven. Tasty fresh beef, toasted buns, bomb.com french fries and sweet tea. There's nothing like it up north!

We decided to check out the Spangles in Emporia when we moved back to Kansas. We were pleasantly surprised by the fun decor inside. Tons of chrome, neon and decorations from the 50s.
We ordered basic burgers and fries - everything was hot and delicious. My son had the chicken fingers and enjoyed them as well.
Spangles is one of those restaurants you really miss when you move away from Kansas. Nothing compares. Every time we come back to Kansas, we have to stop at Spangles, Braums, and Taco Tico. Had to get an order of their onion rings, and they were the best I’ve ever eaten-the fries were great too! I know, it sounds like a heart attack in a bag, but on a long road trip across Kansas, it hit the spot!! Before leaving Spangles, be sure to order a Mud slide. A Mud Slide is a bowl of vanilla soft serve with chocolate sauce then topped with your choice of candy toppings.

This is a unique place to eat. The food was outstanding! I will be back to try everything.

Ate here back in like December 2021, it was late, I had been driving a long time, and I was tired. Had never been to a Spangles before. I ordered the turkey gyro and mini donuts and it was the quickest I've ever been served at a fast food joint in my life. The gyro was good and the donuts melted in my mouth. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Amazing food. Best fast food joint we've ever been to. Super clean. Super friendly staff. Will be coming back for sure.

Love the Philly Cheese Steaks and Onion rings especially. Burgers to I haven't had any bad food there. The Wild Cherry Pepsi is great to. And the staff are always friendly to.

Great drive thru, sit down restaurant. Amazing mushroom swiss burger and great fries.

Always a treat to come to this Spangles. They are very heavy handed with the magic shell in the Turtle Slide. Their ice cream is fantastic, we always stop here when we are traveling through. This place is just a food bonanza - they have everything from breakfast through alcoholic beverages and ice cream, and they have a drive through!

No complaints here. Very clean and very friendly and professional folks. Great food and ice cream fyi is not lactose....it's lactose free so folks like me can enjoy it. Also for $1.99 the ice cream waffle cone is very large and the cone itself has a buttery taste to it..very satisfying.

Burgers were incredibly tasty and fresh with fresh toppings and delicious buns. Flavored fries were the bomb!! Will definitely return when I'm through the area again!!

Excellent service and staff! We have a large family (8 kids). They were super nice about us pushing tables together so we could dine as a family. One of the employees (I wish I would have gotten her name) approached us and took the time out of her busy life to compliment us as well as spoke encouraging and heart felt words to each of us. She didn't know it, but our family had, had a very challenging week. I hope she knows how much her words meant to each of us. We were all so stunned that we didn't appropriately verbalize and thank her for her kindness. ❤

Stopped here on our way back to MN. The food was excellent- great burgers, chicken strips, fries, onion rings and shakes. Staff were very friendly and prompt with our order. Will stop here again!

Great old school fast food restaurant has a very 1950s feel and the food is good if you are craving a non chain diner style burger

The food was above average with the garlic parmesan fries topping the choices we made. My friend had the buffalo ranch chicken salad and fries, and I had the sourdough Philly cheesesteak sandwich and onion rings. We both had a grande drink with our meals and she got another one to go when we left(kind of unusual to be able to carry out mixed drinks).
