Really interesting Ottawa history is found in this cemetary including the burial sites of the founder of Ottawa University, a local Indian chief, founders of the Ottawa mission, etc. Worth a trip if you enjoy local history! A short walk from the entrance takes you to the cemetary. Also, just a pretty outdoor location to explore.

This Beautiful place is such a peaceful experience. It saddens me that not alot has been done to protect these stones. The trees are very magical that stand over the stones. I wish there was more info on the history that comes from the people buried there and the land......Especially beautiful at sunset 💞
