Best Western Plus Longbranch Hotel & Convention Center

We weren't sure about choosing Cedar Rapids for a weekend getaway but we are glad we chose this hotel. Fantastic location, a sauna that gets hot, a fitness center that rivals Planet Fitness in a condensed version with an even better free weight area. The staff we very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and attractive...and I pay attention to detail. My only disappointment was that breakfast ended at 9am. I sleep in a bit while on my getaways . Perkins was close and the service there was fantastic as well. Thumbs up to Cedar Rapids! We will be back.

Nice hotel. Customer service was great and the rooms were clean and in good condition. The bed was as comfortable as any I’ve had. Didn’t eat breakfast but was told it is very good.

Is close to places to eat and shop has a swimming pool and a hot tub a bar it is a really nice hotel and we had a great weekend staying there

A short drive from the Interstate but worth it for this Gem. Great rooms, great Amenities, Great Rate (Government, Military). I was able to enjoy the Pool, Hot-tub and Sauna. The breakfast is also pretty nice. I opened our curtains after getting into our room and a Buck walked right underneath in the pathway behind the Hotel. This is a great place to stay in South East Iowa.

Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, and great location. Also had a nice gym, indoor pool, and delicious breakfast options.

One of the nicest in the hotel chain we have stayed at so far. Marble tops in the rooms, Nice public area that's a bar during the day and the breakfast buffet in the morning. Games in the common area include pool, darts, and fooseball. There were baseball families there and yet nothing was too loud. The only negative thing I can say is the amount ofo ey they hold for the night seems high. 250.00 bucks on a credit card. Other Best Western Plus hotels only charge 50.00 on a credit card. The sign on top of the steak house attached to the hotel only had about half of the letters there, the rest are missing and we didn't really check it out but the steak house looked closed. At least the pool was functioning here. We have been traveling more than usual this month and only this hotel out of three best westerns had a working pool and hot tub.

I have driven past this hotel so many times but never stayed until this weekend for our last Christmas for the year. This hotel is great! It’s updated, workers are friendly, and most importantly, it was clean! Was interesting how you check in in one building, and then walk over to another but overall was a very good experience. Hoping to actually try out the pool, hot tub, and sauna next time!

This hotel is clean and the staff are polite. The morning breakfast was hot and fresh. Tables clean and the staff was willing to help with any requests.

Great receptionist. Hazel, nika went above beyond to make sure our stay exceeded expectations. Nikka was amazing and helpful. Both were just what this hotel needs. I stay in a lot of hotels and this by far has been the best. Come and see what your missing.

Clean, comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast, and a wonderful, helpful, and friendly front desk staff made for a most enjoyable stay!

While I enjoyed my interactions with everyone at the front desk I feel compelled to single out Holly who really came thru for me when I was looking for suggestions on area parks that I might want to check out. Her knowledge of the area and willingness to share her opinions was more than I could have hoped for!

An oldie buy goody! I was skeptical as I pulled in to the parking lot, but once I wandered around a bit, I knew this is one hotel I WILL be coming back to. Not only we’re all of the staff courteous, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathroom pristine. There was a nice selection of channel choices, and for tea drinkers like me a VARIETY of flavored teas (worth 5 stars alone IMO). But that’s just the rooms ! The fitness center is A FULL GYM! None of those “selection of dumbbells, a treadmill, and a bike” - A FULL GYM! There was also a pub, a restaurant, a generously sized pool, a pool table, foosball, darts, an arcade…my teenagers were happy staying here. This hotel is also conveniently located near a movie theater, a bookstore, a Target, a Walmart, and a variety of restaurants,too.

Great accommodations for any type of travel. 5 star breakfast. 5 star facilities. Nice quiet room. Thank you.

Update June 2022:
Room was clean and quiet. The Hot Breakfast was awesome as always! Is not your typical big box hotel.

We got a great room that was only ten steps out our door to the pool, sauna and hot tub. The next mornings breakfast compliments of the Best Western was fantastic. Great food and atmosphere in the dining area. Checkout isn't until noon, so we had time to jump in the pool and hot tub once more before we left. If I'm ever up that way again I know for sure where I'll be staying. Thank You Best Western.

The clerk at the front desk was so so friendly. Could not ask for a nicer person. Also I have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the country. None of them have smelled as good as this one. From the time you walk in the door all the way to your room. It was a very enjoyable place I would like to visit again.

The room was nice and big. Very clean and accommodating. Breakfast was great! Attended a wedding reception and the ball room where they had it was great and looked very nice! Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. As a bonus there is a taco bell right across from the hotel, but after the inside is closed you need to drive a vehicle through as they won't serve you I'd you walk through the drive through.

We loved our stay at the hotel, especially the sky walk to the on site bar and breakfast area.
The hotel is inconveniently located to keep their prices low. Actually once we found it we fell in love with it and the staff.

Location was great and had plenty to choose from when it came to food choices. Hotel rooms, and service were also excellent. Very comfortable, cozy and felt like home. Even in the morning the coffee was ready to go and grab and go snacks were nice and fresh. If i had to point out anything it would be to please new coffee makers in the room and check all outlets. I had a bad coffee maker and outlet limiting my resources for charging my devices.

Great experience! Room was clean. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. We were there 3 nights. All was well and a great stay for the cost!

This hotel is clean and well appointed. The staff is courteous and hard working. We were very comfortable in our room and in the hotel in general. Breakfast was very good and the staff was some of the best we've ever run across. One BUT...if you are truly wheelchair bound your room will meet your needs, however, the parking lot is not safe for loading and unloading with a wheelchair ramp. The slope is dangerous and the area is too small for safety sake.

The motel and grounds are clean and neat. Room was exceptional. The breakfast was superb, Especially being able to view the area while eating. All personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. What a great experience. Definitely not your regular motel.And I almost forgot, the price was soft on the pocket book.
