After a hail storm in the area, a Five Star team member came through the neighborhood and offered to check the roofs to let homeowners be aware if there was damage. He took pictures and sent them to me and explained the process of contacting my insurance etc.I had no idea there was even any damage done so that was an awesome service. Since I have never had to make any house insurance claim I appreciated the time he took to explain what I could expect. Five Stars team was never pushy, but did check in to see how things were going. When I finally got all things set up, they were flexible to meeting with me about the next steps as I was in an extremely busy time at work and had to reschedule a couple of times. Very pleasant people to work with. The roof work was done in a single day and they arranged everything for the gutter work to be done a couple weeks later. I visited the office to make the final payment and they were very kind and helpful—they treat you as a part of the family. The material and lifetime guarantee on the roof gives peace of mind. What I liked about working them through this whole process was that they were willing to work at a pace that worked for me—they were not pushy, were extremely flexible, and kept in touch through texts in the different stages.

Five Star did. an incredible job from start to finish! Tim Newman did an amazing job getting this project started and guiding it to completion from everything from dealing with insurance and submitting pictures and forms to helping us find the right shingle color. The installation crew was fabulous! They cleaned everything up so we’ll…no nails! They did an amazing job on the roof! I highly recommend this company!

Roof had wind damage which required an inspection and resulted in a complete replacement. Great company to work with! Phil was super knowledgeable and professional. Company finished job in less than 2 days.

Five Star was very professional from the initial inspection to helping me through the entire claim process. They made it exremely easy and I felt very comfortable knowing that they were getting it done properly. The work crews they use are EXTREMELY friendly, tidy, professional and flexible. With all of the different companies out there that claim they can "do your roof" hands down these guys were the best. Not to mention less than a month later we were hit with a hurricane and my roof was prestine the entire time. Anyone looking into these guys, no questions needed. Their name says it all, they are 5 stars way up!

We were overwhelmed by the quality and efficiency of having our roof replaced. As a mother, I was particularly impressed by how well the crew cleaned up afterwards. I was worried about nails and things in the yard but that wasn’t an issue at all. We highly recommend 5 star to our friends and neighbors! We had a major hail storm in July 2020 that damaged our roof, so we contacted Five Star Home Improvement. Andrea was very professional, responsive and helpful throughout the process from the initial inspection through to her team coming out and taking care of the job. The crew did a good job of picking up debris and loose nails from the yard.

The whole team was very professional. I was impressed with Mitch. He walked me through the whole process. The workers did a great job and cleaned up when they completed the job. This was a great company to work with.

Had a good experience getting the quote and scope of the work. Information was great and product they use are great and even have a transferable warranty. Crew that came to do the roof show up at 2pm and were done by 8:30pm. Cleaned up well after themselves. Communication through the whole process was a bit choppy, but giving them a pass as I know normal work load was high along with 2 area hail storms.

The wife and I had our roof redone a few months back. The 5STAR's people on the job site kept our property clean and were quick to finish the job. Everything is great on our end!

Five Star did an exceptional job with helping me choose quality materials to replace the roof, siding, and gutters from a hail storm this spring. The home looks wonderful, and we could not be more pleased! They followed up with a thank you note which was a nice touch.

Our roof was replaced due to hail damage in May of 2020. The crew was thorough stay until the job was done. Quality of the work was exceptional. We experienced the Derecho and Cedar rapids in 2020 not one single shingle out of place after the catostrophic wind storm.

After the storm, I called three different roofers and Five Star was the only one who responded. They were very quick to estimate the cost and repair the damage with a new roof. The experience was excellent overall.
