Collins Road Theatres

This place is always clean. The staff is always friendly. The food and snacks are very reasonably priced. I think they just renovated their chairs as well in the theater. Always try to go see a movie here first before anywhere else. Also they have like 7 different salt flavors for popcorn.

Great place to go, way better prices than the other theaters and still has all the same current movies! Popcorn and pop are much more affordable here! Reclining seats. No bad seat in the theater even if you sit up front, they're not too close to the screen. 🍿

I’ve lived in Iowa for 10+ years but only recently discovered this theater. We, as a family, love it. Clean, responsibly priced, friendly staff, and we met the owner (who is on site checking in on guests and offering help). It has a small town feel in the city. Definitely recommend!

The Collins Road theater has clean, comfortable, well spaced seating, a quality sound system, and a well staffed courteous concession stand. Prices for tickets and concessions are excellent. It's very nice to have this smaller, more convenient venue in our area.

Excellent customer service. Cheaper tickets, food, beverages, and snacks than other theaters. Has a spectacular rewards program.

My wife and I love going here. The staff are always positive and helpful. They don't try to push purchases at you. The owner has made an amazing cone back!

Ordered our tickets online, was a breeze. Walked in, got our goodies, which included the BEST buttered popcorn then took our seats. Love this theater and their customer service. The only one I go to!

Collins Road Theater has the best prices! Their food is much better than the other theaters. The hot dogs and homemade Carmel corn is my favorite. The seats have been upgraded not long ago and are very comfy.

Just moved back to town after 5 years away, liked the updates. Took my kids to the first showing of the paw patrol movie. Kids had a great time. Good customer service at the counter, good fresh popcorn with a great price. Seats were comfortable. The seats in the back row get a little blocked by the seats in front for the smaller kids but not a huge deal.

Still a great place to go with my kids will be back frequently now that we are back in town

Seriously the Best popcorn of any theatre around. They have serve yourself butter, fake butter or other flavor toppings for popcorn. Comfortable seating. Tall back chairs. Extremely Reasonable priced. Especially I came Tuesday. You must try it out!

The tickets and concessions are super cheap! You can buy tix online and the seats are comfortable.

I am glad they don't put up with phones during movies. It was a bit hot in the theatre.

The best place to see movies. Great accommodations, friendly staff, the best popcorn and my husband loves the real butter on his popcorn!

Perfect for the small family or older theatre feel. My kid spent 40 minutes running back and forth, climbing on the rides before our movie started. He loved it. The reclining chairs were great, and the snacks are very affordable, family size popcorn for $6.75 is very nice. Movie selection is limited with 4 theaters, but I am a fan of the small town feel.

Best experience for movies. Friendly owner on site. Fantastic low prices for movies and concessions. Have had very, very bad experiences at the large chain other theaters in town due to people scrolling on their phones during movies and distracting with lights from texting and scrolling, talking during movie, bad behavior from teens, etc. etc. SO HAPPY that Collins Road has a firm “ we will kick you out” if any phone use or disruption. Ushers take care of these problems. So if you are addicted to the phone, stay away from Collins Road- and let others enjoy it instead!! Just love coming here. Only caveat is cannot buy tix online without paying Fandango’s extra fee, but tix prices are usually lower so that offsets it.

Our preferred choice for first run movies. Plus the snacks are the best in town.

This is a locally owned theater, and the price for tickets and concessions is fantastic. Movies are current, and the theater experience is great. Highly recommend you experience your movie going here.

I don't get out to the movies often but when I do Collins road theater is the place to go. I like that I can buy tickets easily online. They have multiple theaters so there's always some good options and a variety of movies. During this visit. I sat in one of the smaller theaters but it still felt roomy. The dream lounger chairs are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and kept the viewing area as well as the lobby clean.

Bathrooms need work. Good service at concessions, very polite and courteous employees. Love supporting the locally owned and operated business.

Always a great experience, we'll kept, very comfortable seating, reasonable prices and the popcorn is the best.
