David's Bridal Cedar Rapids IA

My fiancé and I recently decided to have a wedding this year last minute. We had 3 weeks to plan it. I’ve been ordering dresses off Amazon and returning it if it didn’t look good. I was in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area and decided to stop in and see if they had any last minute dresses. Coming in to the store I was welcomed. I got measured and was told what areas I could browse in. I had a girl name Breanna help me. She made me feel very comfortable and was very helpful. I ended up finding the perfect dress for me. I’ve always visioned a high low dress. It was very simple and just what I was looking for. And the cost was very nice! Under $100!

Alice was the best at helping me find my prom dress, super nice & helpful with finding my size, color and style!! Super kind & collected, would definitely come back to see her! Thank you Alice!!

Today was beyond what I could have hoped for as my daughter chose her wedding dress! We had been in the previous night and looked for possibilities on a dress with the help of her stylist Shaely. Who is AMAZING! After finding some beautiful gowns, my daughter made some quick calls to invite those she wanted to share this moment with her the next day. When we arrived today, Shaely had everything ready for us!! All eight of us! Shaely made my daughter’s day exactly as she had envisioned - surrounded by those who love her, finding the most stunning dress that fit her personality perfectly and being able to confidently say “yes” to the dress! Thank you so much for making her day truly magical!!

I had been to three other bridal boutiques and just about given up. I ended up being a walk in and Ahnnushka Soenksen offered to help me. She ended up being the best thing that has happened since first trying on wedding dresses. I showed her pictures of the style I was going for and David's actually had two designers and three lines that were spot on. Ahnnushka was amazing and super friendly yet very respectful. She made the experience wonderful and yes I did find the perfect dress. She was incredibly knowledgeable and ten times more helpful and friendly than anyone who had helped me at the previous boutiques in CR and Iowa City. Very pleased and loved the dress selection.

Jacki Bridges (Alterations Manager) was amazing from start to finish. I was nervous to go in for alterations because I was actively losing a lot weight and she fulfilled all my questions and needs. She treated me with respect and was more like a friend. Overall, she made a nerve racking experience fun and unforgettable. I would recommend her to anyone that is in need for alterations.

Emily and Meimee were so wonderful and helpful! I came in needing a dress super last minute and they helped me figure out what dress size I was and got started! I found exactly what I needed and was able to get in and out super quick!

Went in for a bridesmaid dress, and it was very fast and easy. I wasn't sure what exactly what I was looking for, but my Stylist for the day, Meimee Sun eventually found the perfect one! She has great taste when you're looking for just the right thing!

All the David’s Bridal employees have been very helpful throughout the last year of wedding planning. I had my first fitting today and Dominique was extremely kind, funny, precise, thorough and had excellent attention to detail! I highly recommend! <3

Downfall was that all the ones I had wanted to try on (I looked online before the appointment) weren't in the store.. but she showed me great alternatives and I tried on dresses didn't think I'd even try.

I was DREADING shopping for a wedding dress. I have some serious insecurities and shopping in stores is always a stressor for me, let alone a wedding dress shop. I’m thinking “this is the most important thing I’ll ever wear!” I initially made the mistake of ordering something online and it didn’t fit me right and was the completely wrong color lol. I was afraid my elopement was too fast approaching to actually get a dress from a shop, but the experience I had at this David’s could NOT have been better. They had a wide selection in a bunch of sizes and I was able to take it home the day of! Xena was my stylist and she was so welcoming, such an open ear, and literally ALWAYS had a smile on her face. I felt absolutely no pressure and actually was having trouble deciding between THREE dresses, which is a scenario I definitely didn’t expect to be in! I was there alone and she recommended I try to FaceTime somebody I trusted to help me decide. I didn’t even think to do that because I was so in my own head. Once I did, man was that burden lifted. I just seriously couldn’t say enough good things about Xena I swear. I thank her so much for making one of the most stressful things for me to do so easy! It’s like my best friend was in the room. 15/10 recommend!

I am the bride who had doubts and second thoughts. I went back into David's Bridal with the dress I originally purchased and explained what wasn't feeling right to me. They set me up with Mary who gave me lots of choices and helped me work through each option with zero judgment. She was so kind and patient and helpful. She put me at ease and helped me pick out the one - the real one. She even helped me choose a veil, which I hadn't done the first time. I was able to exchange the original dress for MY dress and leave with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I could not be happier with the help I received at David's Bridal.

I was in a time crunch and needed a new dress I felt good in. Brought the old one back, and they exchanged no questions asked and helped me find a new dress. Also got alterations scheduled the next day and will have it done by the time I leave in 4 weeks.

Mary in alterations was awesome and fun. She did a fabulous job with no questions asked. She was great to work with and I trusted her 100%.

They were absolutely amazing! Emily V. was my stylist. I went in for a wedding dress and found the perfect one! Emily offered her opinion but was never pushy and was very patient and communicative about every step of the way. I highly recommend this place and Emily V. for your stylist for anyone looking for a wedding dress! I also live out of town and they are very accommodating on getting the dress to me back home, which helps so much! Thank you David's Bridal and Emily V.

My daughter and I have had a FABULOUS experience at David's Bridal in Marion! We've been there NUMEROUS times trying to decide on my Mother's Dress and it's been so easy, and they are so professional. Tami and Emily were Both AMAZING to work with. They made us feel like we were truly special. Even though they are short-staffed due to sickness. When it's a weekend IN ANY retail environment, it's going to be busy. But even on their busiest days when they were down a few employees, they still worked hard to make it an enjoyable and easy process for us!!! If I could I would give them 10 Stars!!!

I would 100% reccomend this Bridal Shop for anyone!! I had a last minute try on for my wedding that is a week away. My mom and I spent an hour looking through dresses and had found three or four dresses that we liked. Olivia, our bridal assistant, was so very helpful and in the end I fell in love with her pick. It's not something I'd try on for me but I'm so glad I did! It is perfect. Thank you so much Olivia for being patient and willing to recommend something a little outside my style. I'm forever grateful!

Jaelin was amazing for my daughter and her friend. She rushed around and gave the awesome additional choices that were complimentary for their body shapes and wants. She wasn't pushy or annoying. I would request her any day!!!

I went to David’s Bridal for my first wedding dress appointment, and I honestly didn’t have my hopes up that I’d find “the one” on the first try. But I did! They had so many glamorous choices. I felt really special because I had a stylist named Alice who made the experience absolutely top notch. She went way above and beyond to bring me accessories to give me the full effect, and she gave me helpful advice and suggestions. She was running around to pick out things that she thought I’d like, and she got my style really fast because I loved everything she picked! I also never felt pressure that I needed to buy anything. My group that came with me made it special, but having a stylist that really cared made the experience even better. I’m so happy with my dress and I will be coming back to see Alice for bridesmaid dresses! Thank you David’s Bridal!

I had an amazing experience dress shopping at David’s bridal. The stylist to help me was great! Today I had my alterations appointment and got to work with Mary. She was fabulous and took her time to make sure everything was going to be perfect. She was so kind and detail oriented, no rush to hurry and get it finished.
