A lovely little family owned orchard with terrific apple pie and a good selection of apples for purchase and delicious cider.

Been here twice and blown away each time. First time was apple picking, and they had a fantastic variety. Second time was just on a whim and picked up the best apple butter I've ever had!

We love Smalls! This is a yearly trip for the entire family. And I really like being able to support local whenever I can.

My family visits every year. The present ownership is taking good care of the orchards. They have the largest selection of apple varieties, & you can usually pick your own.

Best fall fun around!! One can pick their own apples at certain times. Smalls had the BEST apple cider around. They also have a pie shop on location. Lots of pie and ice cream!

I visited Smalls fruit farm last year and am looking forward to going again. The orchard is tucked back in the pockets of the Loess hills and stumbling upon it was like discovering a hidden gem. I’d never tasted apples so crisp and flavorful. It really gave me a greater appreciation for food grown on a smaller scale.
I’m always on the lookout for barbecue sauce as well and they had some that I purchased that was so good, I plan to go back for more.
They had a nice assortment of pumpkins, and the apple cider is amazing.
If you’re looking for something more traditional, but enjoy places that are embedded in nature, give Smalls a try!

Small's Fruit Farm is a very pleasant and welcoming place. Friendly staff. Excellent apples. A very well kept orchard. All this in the beautiful Loess Hills of Western Iowa. Small's is about 35 miles North of where I live but VERY well worth the drive. We'll definitely be going back. Great place!

We made applesauce with the apples we purchased and it was better than anything you could buy at a store. Apple cider and vodka 😋.

Renee, Jim & Trevor are so awesome and down to earth. LOTS of delicious apples, pies, pumpkins, popcorn etc. A must stop in a beautiful setting!

Apple picking season's in full force and beautiful orange pumpkins decorate the landscape everywhere. Ask about their apple cider and cherry and raspberry drinks. Their pie parlor is open until the snow hits the ground.

We love this little place. The family that owns it are always willing to explain the process of growing, picking and processing apples. Fresh veggies in the summer the best pumpkins in the fall!

I've been taking my grandson's here for years they usually have face painters, free apple cider tasting, kettle corn, some arts and crafts vendors, a bouncy house, sometimes ponyrides, And free hayback rides ! They also have a big Slingshot and targets for kids to aim apples at to win prizes.

This was a very nice place to visit. Kids got free tractor wagon rides and the apple cider was delicious. The pumpkin farm was awesome and kids had fun picking just the right ones!

It was amazing. Me, and my family go every year to pick apples. We get to spend wonderful quality family time. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and it is a great place to go.

Cute country store. They ask if you want to pick your own apples or they have tons of varieties bagged to buy on the spot. Will for sure stop again.
