Visited last year and stopped nearby again this year. Great history and very unique rooms to wander around. A short walk from the lock observation deck. Take photos as it may be haunted!

Great little place, a glimpse at a disappearing history. The basement has a photojournalism exhibit about modern life on the river barge boats and the modern lock and dam system that I found very informative; the upstairs exhibits pay homage to the decades of history in this sleepy river town. There is a clear desire and dedication to preserve this piece of local history.

Was closed while we were there. No barges passed through the lock but there was lots of info and history on display boards by the lock viewing area. Really neat!
