Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Fastest, friendliest service! Was greeted as soon as we got into the door and had food within 5 minutes. Food tasted really good! Had the Frisco smash burger and onion rings. Would definitely go back!

The guy that took my order in drive thru was probably the most detailed oriented service I have ever received for a fast food joint. Came to the drive thru window and he was very friendly to talk to and helpful. I complimented his service and asked if he is a manager because of how good he is at this job. He is indeed a manager, I believe he said his name is Paul. Good guy!

This place was awesome Glad we stopped. We were treated extra special The place is clean and organized and a awesome team of workers.
Travel this way very frequently will stop in again. I believe the gentleman that served us was Antonio or something like that it's tattooed on his arm. He needs an attaboy it's a good worker.

I started going to Freddy’s in Colorado, & was SHOCKED to see it here! LOVE their fry sauce, & almost everything on the menu. If you’re going to eat fast food, THIS is killer! DEFINITELY recommend! 😋

First time Ive ever been to this chain and I think it was the best customer service I've ever had at a drive through in Iowa. I'd highly recommend choosing this restaurant over the other more generic drive throughs. My only feedback on the food would be slightly longer fries to make it easier to dip in the fry sauce. My concrete was picture perfect!

1st time trying Freddys. Food was amazing, employees were very nice. And i love the old style of the place. Definitely coming back. The jalepeno burger was amazing.

I was in Cedar Falls for work and decided to try this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the money. It being my first visit, the staff were helpful in explaining, and recommending menu items.
I ended up having the double steak burger California style, and their signature turtle concrete desert item. It was excellent.
Their fry sauce is reminiscent of In & Out Burger, and their shoestring fries I would say are better than Steak & Shake's. Their beef patties are thin like Steak and Shake's which I really enjoyed. For those like me who enjoy a bit of spice, they offer a jalapeno fry sauce which I added to my burger and ate my fry's with. A staff member even collected the garbage from my table as she was sweeping the floor. I will be back.

Their burgers are very tasty. No lettuce or tomatoes but that was fine with me. I ordered grilled onions in mine. Cheese curds are delicious. Friendly staff.

This chain of food is amazing. The cheese curds we got were taken out of the fryer infront of our eyes. The burgers were made to order and were delicious. This place absolutley blows culvers out of the water. The vegetables are always fresh and have good crunch. And the frozen custard is perfectly smooth. 10/10 love this place. No I'm not a robot for them. Its just that good.

Was here last summer and after visiting again 3 times in 3 days with my son have decided to update my review.

Wonderful frozen custard and food. I have not been disappointed in my 5 visits. Staff was always courteous, even when very busy. I didn't catch her name, but there was a black girl with red hair that waited on us twice, she was extremely nice/helpul.

Usually good. This time not. No other customers here. Takes forever, mostly waiting for a hot dog. Fries cold, burgers cold, wrong burger, cheese curds burnt, Cherry Pepsi spraying. Staff seems uninterested. Good help is hard to find, but better Freddy's is usually not.

Update 2 years later: best fast food burger in the metro. Up there with Big Head. Fries are great, cheese balls are great. AND THE SAME PRICE AS CRAPDONALD'S. +2 stars.

My husband and I ate here tonight. Excellent experience. The lady who took our order had a great personality. She was fun!

The person that took our order was very friendly and helpful. Our orders were correct and the food was good. We really liked the fries. Update 10/22/2023 - Tonight we had the Pumpkin shake and Pumpkin Pie Conrete. Both were very good. The Pumpkin Pie Concrete has a slice of real Pumpkin pie in it! Than was a real treat when I got down to the middle of the dessert.

We only got frozen custard here, but it was delicious! The staff were friendly and courteous, and got our order out in great time. We went drive through. We will definitely go back if ever in the area again, maybe try a steak burger!
