He is a good urologist when it came to my kidney stone removal and a few other things he took care of me for a few years. I feel that some Urologist in a small town are not updated to the more newest research that Pittsburgh care specialist has. I also ended up getting a second opinion seeing a holistic doctor that put me on magnesium 400mg and vitamin 100 mg B6 and that completely stopped my kidney stones from forming. As time went on I started discovering other issues with bladder retention related to medications side effects. I had two occasions that I had bladder retention that was not medication related and. He said without any other further tests to roll out possible causes that he was going to put me through surgery and cut the nerve to my bladder and put a computer chip in. Luckily I declined surgery and found out that my bladder retention the first time was just constipation that was pressing up against certain areas to cause the retention. The second time I had bladder retention and went to him he wanted me to once again have surgery to cut the nerve to my bladder and put a computer chip in. I declined again and got a second opinion somewhere else . coming to find out It was from my pelvic muscles being too tight diagnosed by UPMC Megee Women's Hospital Urology. They sent me straight to pelvic Physical Therapy which completely did away with my bladder retention no surgery required. I feel that it's important to get a second opinion from another doctor and I do understand that there probably is some people out there that did need that computer chip to function their bladder. But it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion before going under the knife. I have not been back to Dr Parihar since and I do feel that all doctors need to be updated on Advanced research that is found out that they may not know about.

My husband will not be returning. Last year we had an emergency issue and were referred to Dr. Parihar. At first, everything was okay. He told us on our first visit to contact his billing and have them put a hold on our account until we received news from WMC. We called, that very same first day and set up the hold on my husbands account. After we received news from WMC, we paid the multiple bills, IN FULL. I double checked with their staff that there was no further billing and we were paying everything in full that was owed. Yes they were sure. 6 months later we're slammed with a $1500 bill and when I called the bill lady accused me of being a liar even though I am sure all the information was on file from the slew of previous calls I'd had with their department, and lied about this magical bill. Then turned us into collection because they screwed up for a nice black mark on our credit before we even KNEW the bill existed. Yeah, we never received a single copy of this magical bill but suddenly were in collection after being told everything to date had been paid.

Not to mention on top of that, he performed 2 procedures on my husband, knowing very well the first one wouldn't work at all because of the size of the problem. The first procedure is generally used for much smaller issues than my husband had because it has no chance in hell of working on a larger mass of 20+ mm.

First time seeing this doctor and he didn't even bother to come in and talk to me. Instead he sent in a nurse who was unable to advise me whatsoever. I was told I had three options for my kidney stone and I had to decide which procedure I wanted to get done. they were unable to provide any advice at all. I am not letting a doctor put me under when he doesn't have the time to meet me first. I was told he needed a pizza and was busy eating his pizza when my scheduled appointment was up so he could not be part of the visit. I am flabbergasted and would recommend you stay away from this "doctor".

Dr Perihar is not up to date on new technology. He does procedures on you that are not needed. His office isn’t open hours they are suppose to be. His offices are understaffed. He’s been sued multiple times for malpractice. He has changed his story multiple times, and now is releasing my step daughter with out any test result answers because we have decided to get a second opinion at Ruby.

I have been to this office twice. Both very unpleasant experiences. Both times will at some point end you with your pants on the ground and the doctor opening the door to the main lobby abruptly to do something else or have a conversation. Make sure you wave as other patients walk by and get full view of your goods. A very unorganized office who will ultimately let you down when you are already worried to begin with. I am sure there are other options that have to be much better all around.

His license to practice needs removed immediately. Sadly Ohio limits ability to sue for malpractice. If anyone reading this needs a urologist. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.
