Great ride on Kawasaki Versys 1000 to find this covered bridge. Very cool old bridge in the countryside of PA. After u ride through the covers bridge there is room to park in the grass off the side of the road to do exploring….Only traffic is local farm tractors.

As a kid I would frequently ride my bike with my friends through the tunnel and hang out near/under it on hot summer days. The wooden covered bridges in central PA are each unique and bring back great memories every time I see them.

This is a well maintained bridge that is minutes within Newport and the Perry County Fairgrounds. This bridge is flanked by private property, complete with "No Trespassing!" signs that leave no doubt. Not local to the area, and zero space to pull off the side of the road, we paused only long enough to take two quick pictures from our car. Absolutely beautiful countryside.
