Smokin' Jalapeno

First time trying, and oh my goodness, it's delicious!! I had the Fajita Bowl, and my son had the 2 taco combo. I'll admit the rice wasn't good (no flavor), but the black beans were the best I ever ate. They bring you our a basket of thin crispy chips and salsa right after you order. I can't wait to go back next time we're in town! Cashier was sweet and helpful with questions, too!

I visited for lunch and got the 2 taco combo with a side of chips and queso. The queso was definitely a worthy upgrade. Tall statement: this is some of the best queso I’ve had. For my tacos, I went with the pork and the fried avocado. The pork taco was good but the fried avocado one absolutely knocks it out of the park! The service was also great. I’ll definitely have to visit again when I’m in the Shoals.

This place blew my mind. every taco is totally different from the other. Friendly staff, and free tocos on Tuesday. Amazing!!

Tbh just came here for the first time. Let’s just say the fired avocado taco has stole my soul. Never had a flavor like that almost reminds me of fresh sushi such an epic creation !

The pork tacos and fried chicken tacos were great. The chips and salsa servings are large. Very good!

We enjoyed the brisket tacos (without bbq sauce). Tender brisket with no fat. The pico that came with the tacos was good. They serve salsa and chips, I didn’t care for the salsa served it reminded me of ketchup. Order at the counter and then your table is served. I would eat here again, it is more Tex-Mex than authentic which was expected. Clean dining are, the health score was 95 (I didn’t read the details).

Oh my goodness! It's like wonderfulness exploded in your mouth! 😁😂 We got the smoked chicken ques., pulled pork and fried shrimp tacos with queso dip and it was AMAZING! I usually do not like or care for tacos but this place really outdone themselves. Also we had street corn that was cooked perfect and the mexi rice was not dry and all of it had amazing seasons!Thank you for amazing fresh food!

Great food here! Similar to one of our fav haunts in Orlando with freshly prepared eats. Service seems to be short handed, but that's to be expected these days. Excellent dip, chips, quesadillas, and tacos. You won't be disappointed.

I visited Smokin Jalapeño for lunch on my first visit and really enjoyed it. I had the Taco combo. It consisted of a Nashville hot fried chicken Taco, a fried shrimp Taco, street corn and Mexican rice. It was a delicious meal, neat atmosphere and good service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the taco special, which includes two tacos and two sides. I swapped out one side for cheese dip.

This was unexpectedly amazing. They are definitely far from traditional tacos, but as a southern food/Mexican fusion, they really knocked it out of the park. It was so tasty that I went home and told my husband, "You have got to try Smokin Jalapeno". We ordered from the Florence location for dinner. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD, I ORDERED TWO MEALS IN ONE DAY.

I’ve been working up there this past month and I absolutely love it. My boss and I try to go there at least 2 times a week but sadly our job is close to being finished so I’ll have to make the special trip from Birmingham. They have one of the best queso dips and I always get their chicken fried tacos combo. To the idiots who complained. It’s a TexMex not a Mexican restaurant and they do have spicy stuff you just have to look you morans. I’m sorry but the food really is good and I’ve never had any problems with their service at least at their newest location. You guys are awesome and thank you for your smiling faces and kindness whenever we come. I look forward to seeing you guys next week:)

My all-time favorite taco is the Fried Avocado Taco. It has the perfect flavor combinations.

Although I have not dined in, they consistently deliver quality meals to go. By far, the best tacos in town! The naked chicken and shrimp tacos are my favorite. The queso is spicy and packed full of flavor. The Mexican Corn is also a huge hit for my family. Highly recommend!

We were hesitant to eat here as we had heard some negative feedback. Boy, are those people wrong! The food was some of the best food I've had in a while, period. I had fish and shrimp tacos with rice and Mexican corn. Everything was so good! We also got the trio appetizer. The salsa verde was some of the best I've had, and the guacamole might be the best guac I've ever had. The queso was great, too. It had a smoky flavor to it. My wife got an enchilada and really enjoyed it.

Our service was also outstanding. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our order got lost in the system (we still didn't think we had waited long), but the manager came out and gave us a free dessert, which was also incredible!

Needless to say, we will definitely be back. We're glad to see something like this in Muscle Shoals, and we look forward to eating there often!

My co workers and I needed a quick lunch. Two of us wanted Tacos and one wanted 306 BBQ. Both places walk throughout while bringing food allowing guest to order at one place and sit at another. Food was excellent! Taco shells were fantastic!

Pulled in drive thru at 11:35. Out by 11:42. Food is always spectacular. They put a fun twist on your regular Mexican taco!

I definitely recommend this place! The shrimp and fish tacos were superb! Overall, great atmosphere and amazing service. Will be back again!

Delicious! The taco combo comes with 2 soft shelled tacos that you can mix and match, a side, and a drink(or 2 sides if no drink) for ten bux. I had a brisket taco and a buffalo chicken taco with black beans and lemonade. All of it was superb with lots of tongue happy flavors including the zesty bbq sauce. Yummy!

This place is great! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was also really friendly. They know what they’re doing, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is amazing and their prices are 100% worth it. This is a place everyone should visit if you're here. Jadianna and Megan were extremely nice and helpful. Tipping isn't mandatory but I urge you to because the staffs are wonderful. Overall I highly recommend this place and would eat here again!

Great portions and just the right level of heat. My wife and I were able to share two tacos with a side of street corn and chips with queso. I definitely would recommend trying Smokin' Jalapeno's out!
