Madison County Courthouse Satellite Office

I just want to say I’ve never had a better experience than I did here. The ladies in the State Office were the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever encountered. They answered all my questions including ones I didn’t even think of asking, and got me squared away in the shortest time span. I would highly recommend giving them raises and keeping them around for as long as possible.

Everyone here was super helpful as I was moving into the area from overseas. Transactions were all smooth and they talked me through a few options that I had for plates and taxes. All in all the most pleasant experience I've had at a government building in quite some time.

I feel like the luckiest person today! No line at the license replacement! My friend got a title transfer and was seen so quickly! Both ladies who helped us were sweet, kind and didn't sound ugly and rude like many I have dealt with in previous occasion at different locations. Please, keep up the good work!

This place is fairly efficient, and the staff is friendly. I called ahead with a couple of questions, of which they went above and beyond answering. It helped me be prepared when I got there. It was about a 15 minute wait, but they were a bit busy, so not a rediculous wait. Once I met with the clerk, I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Not bad!

Dana, one of the wonderful people who do the road tests, was awesome!!!! My daughter was so nervous, but Dana did a great job of reassuring her and the road test went great!!! I highly recommend the Madison satellite location. Friendly service and organized!

Went to the courthouse to just change my address within Madison city. The take a number system is convenient but the computer didn't have this specific option. I guessed that 'renew license' would do the trick and it worked. The waiting area is very comfortable. All 3 staff members were courteous and professional. The 5 stars are for them.

I always have such good experiences here. Even with COVID-19, free experience was great! They give sanitizer to everyone and require masks, but allow you to make one if you don't have one. Service is quick and the people are so nice. So much better than going to downtown Huntsville! I'll always go here as long as I live in Madison County. *masks required as of 5/13/2020*

Short wait time. Was in and out of the office in less than 15 minutes to get a car registration. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
