TownePlace Suites by Marriott Huntsville West/Redstone Gateway

I enjoyed my stay here on 8/20-8/21. Ample parking, welcoming entry, & pleasant & helpful front desk associates. Room was clean, bed was comfy, towels weren't too scratchy. Only thing I'd change is to have individual shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner-this is for sanitary purposes-instead of the big bottles that anyone can open. I had a great view, I didn't eat the breakfast bc of my own dietary restrictions. But still suitable grab & go options. Kitchen was very well equipped, elevator was clean & fast. No 'smells' in the hallway. Overall, a clean & quiet lodging experience for me & I'd recommend to other travelers.

Came for my Nephew’s graduation and do some training. What a great stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Paralympics was going on, so there were a lot of people roaming around the hotel, but the noise level was never an issue. The room was huge. The breakfast was good. The hotel was only a few minute drive from everything I had to get to. Would definitely recommend staying here

I don't normally leave reviews and I try to keep myself in some good lights with wherever I go, but this place merits pulling out an account I've never used for anything really.

This hotel has the definition of amazing staff. From the manager all the way down, this place is a home away from home as I'm a frequent traveler. From the warm smiles and genuine care for everyone who comes in, there is no other Hotel I'd rather stay at then here when I come to work on base. The staff are friendly and accommodating for any issues I've seen others need and treat everyone with a respect you would only find from family. There's never a moment where I felt that I wasn't welcomed, nor did I ever feel that anyone didn't put forth their best effort to make sure my stay and others was as pleasant as possible.

I've watched their rapid response to a recent water problem in their hotel be quickly resolved with their fast actions and preventative measures to make sure that everyone that returned could have a nice shower after a long day of work or fun. Their fast reactions and use of diplomacy to help settle down any nerves or worries for their guests made everything seem like it was going to be alright, they even made sure everything was usable by the end of the day!

The rooms are comfortable, and offer plenty of space depending on if you're traveling alone or with others. The small, but very easily used kitchenette makes this place a perfect stay for a few days up to a few weeks. I've often found myself when I work at other areas wondering why other hotels don't offer the same sort of room layout or utilities... These guys just do it the best! They will always have my business and my endless gratitude for amazing service and care.

This has been a wonderful stay behind tragedy! Our house 🔥 burned and insurance put us here. I've been here for a couple months now and love it. Has a beautiful view as you see in pics. Service has been great and its even pet friendly so we didn't have to be separated from our fur babies. It's a very clean quite place very comfortable. You also have pleasure knowing the arsenal is right down the road so no worries of any nonsense. If your just passing through or coming to stay a while I highly recommend the stay in this Marriott!

Awesome breakfast! Having traveled a lot over the years, I wasn’t expecting more than just the regular service of a hotel of this kind. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities overall but the continental breakfast was simply excellent. My wife loved the scones!

Convenient location near I-565. Room was bigger than other Towne Place Suites I have stayed at. Clean and comfortable with full kitchen. Breakfast was standard. Like other Towne Place Suites it has good Interstate access, but is not walkable to restaurants and shops.

This has to be the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. No traffic noise, no noisy neighbors, no loud animals. The only minor complaint is that the shower curtain was not clean. I don't usually compassion unless it's something major. I just bought a small bottle of cleaner and cleaned it myself. This hotel isn't that old but the signs on the west side stairwell are misspelled. Hard to believe this wasn't noticed during construction.

We’ve stayed here before and yea, it’s a little dated but the rooms are spacious and close to being on post. We love the kitchen area with a full working kitchen minus the stove. It does have a cooktop and a grill area outside. We also love the separate vanity from the shower. Very family friendly! The back of the hotel boasts of a pond and a walking trail around the pond.

Everything was spot on right from the outset. The room was clean and well laid out. The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful! And little things like the AC being already on in the middle of the summer when you first walk in is very much appreciated.

Loved my room! Clean, smelled great and fully stocked with everything I needed including kitchen and utensils. I was on the first floor and I'd definitely recommend. Salute from Texas

Overall, I had a great stay at TownePlace Huntsville West/Redstone Gateway. Friendly employees, clean hotel, and everything was in working order. My only minor wish that could have been improved is to offer more variety of breakfast food items, especially the hot items (it was pretty limited).

I was actually really impressed. Some of the reviews about the cleanliness scared me but having six people in our family there are not many options as far as hotels in the area that can accommodate that. We went ahead and reserved a room here and I was very impressed. The two bedroom suites was perfect for us are two bigs and are two littles. It’s conveniently located. And the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again

Very nice hotel for short or long term stays. Nice outdoor pool and firepit. Not many dining options nearby that are open for dinner but very easy drive to everything in Huntsville and Redstone.

Great getaway. We already live here BUT in-laws came to spend time with grandkids so we took an overnight getaway just to rest and relax. If you want to be busy then your close to Bridgestreet and all kinds of shopping and restaurants. You are like 1 or 2 interstate stops from almost anything (Space and Rocket Center, Downtown Huntsville, Groceries, Shopping, Stadium, J. Alexanders...) Also between Huntsville and Madison. Has a clean pool. There is a lake behind it with a wide trail around it good for walks or runs. Free breakfast between 7 and 930 I think. The coffee was good. We didn't use the coffee in the room but down at the breakfast. Employees are nice, helpful, and friendly. Important to some BATHTUB! Yes there was a shower BUT a lot of hotels have opted for just showers...But if your one who loves a good tub soak, they still have the tub/shower combo.

Definitely recommend for a Huntsville trip!

Love this place. First floor has many rooms with vaulted ceilings, so you don't feel closed in. Nice kitchenettes in each room. Beds are firm, which I like. Staff is awesome. Great location if you're working at the arsenal. Only real con is the breakfast. It's not great, but it's not horrible. I personally think the Hampton Inn across the interstate has superior breakfast.

Highly recommend; very clean hotel, absolutely no complaints about the room, and it includes anything you'd need (they even have dishes and silverware in the rooms!) The staff members were very friendly and they gave me extra things when I needed them.
The location is a short drive from Huntsville, but it is a very safe area and a great place to stay.

Hotel was a little tricky to find, but was very comfortable once we arrived. We were a night ahead of our moving truck, so we needed a place to stay. A family member who had elite status booked this for us with their numerous points. We were there only a short time, so I can't really rate the service. It was clean and comfortable, the two most important things for me when it comes to hotels. It is convenient to Gate 9, Research Park, and Bridge Street for shopping and dining (though you'll need a car because it really isn't walkable to anything except maybe the Redstone Gateway center.)

Everything was flawless from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet was absolutely great, the staff was extremely professional and nice, and the room was in excellent condition with many thoughtful appointments and great climate control. As a Quality professional this guest found all the major requisites of customer service: effectiveness, efficiency, and consideration--were met and even surpassed. Highly recommended!
