Holiday Inn Express & Suites Huntsville West - Research Park, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is in a great location. Close to several varieties of restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to Interchanges to move throughout Huntsville.
Very clean hotel with attentive staff. Our room was great. Very well taken care of. With the exception of one of the black out curtains wouldn't close 100%. The room doors were heavy, but that's because they are fire safe doors.
Breakfast was organized and well stocked. The attendee stayed close to keep watch and take care of any issues or questions.
The elevators were quick and ran smoothly. They were never crowded.
The pool was clean, and the area around it was neat and tidy. They provided towels for those using the pool, which is a nice touch.
They have full laundry (if you want to use this, check to see if they have detergent) and a gym for guests to use. The bathroom by the gym was clean and smelled fresh.
I would recommend this hotel and area.

Excellent hotel, very clean, and great staff. Ms. Betty was a bright spot in our morning at breakfast! Hot breakfast was delicious as well. Would recommend 100%. The only negative is the bed was not super comfy.

When entering the hotel and heading to the front desk, you may be taken aback by the hyper-vigilance with outdated Covid protocols and feel like you stepped back in time a few years. Don’t let that concern you for long because this hotel is CLEAN. I mean super clean. I normally stay at Hilton brands when in town but wanted to hit Texas Roadhouse which is next door to here. The room looks like it’s never been slept in and even the towels look brand new. Bravo to the staff! I know where I’ll be staying next time I’m in town. Masks optional. ;)

This is an amazing hotel because of the staff!!!
Michelle helped my children, in lower elementary school, get their breakfast while I held my toddler. She treated us like she knew us and the breakfast was awesome. Omelets, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, pancakes, muffins, Chobani yogurt, fresh pancakes, pork and Turkey sausage.

Betty and Debra were kind to us and got us a tray to carry our food.

Derwin, a walking saint, asked if we had all our belongings before cleaning our room as soon as we left. He complimented our children and visited with my husband.

The front desk staff answered my questions thoroughly and patiently. Anyone would love to stay at this hotel!!!

All the staff were so friendly and I appreciated how clean the hotel is. We ended up leaving the Country Inn right after arriving because it was so filthy, the $100 higher cost was worth it. Here during a military convention and most hotels were booked. Breakfast was decent but would have liked bacon 🙏

The service was excellent. The room was awesome. Breakfast employees were up and beyond helpful. This visit was very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you all!!

My hotel stay was relaxing and peaceful. The room was clean smelled good and their breakfast was delicious. The staff were awesome and the ladies serving breakfast were amazing. I just want to say thank you to all the staffs making me feel welcomed and at home.

Great stay. Very quiet big rooms. Slept great. Outdoor pool.

I've stayed here twice and each time I have nothing negative to say about anything. The rooms are clean plus this is the only hotel that I've ever stayed in and was actually able to use the soap they provide without hesitation kmsl because from the lotion to the shampoo is Dove!! But with saying all of that the most enjoyable moment is breakfast not because of the food which by the way is great but because they have one employee who no matter what is going on has the most pleasant, beautiful, and calming personality that I can think of Mrs. Mary keep that up.

Everything was pleasant and clean. The breakfast was buffet was amazing with vegetarian and gluten free options with a dash of friendliness from the kitchen staff. The room was particularly comfortable and extremely clean. Very quiet hotel maybe due to the residential area. The room doors are quite heavy for a child or smaller person (to know in case of emergency). Loved the bathroom toiletries. The mini mart was also well stocked. New favorite in town!

Great hotel about 9 years old. It has charm and the interior is beautiful. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and it was very comfortable. Good to see some curtains and valance for window treatments. The exterior looks great clean and well maintained. The surrounding area is very nice and close to restaurants, food stores and gas. Perfect location for overnight stay or couple of days. It’s listed as a favorite place for me.

The hotel is fairly new, so it is very clean. The rooms are spacious enough. But what made this so great was the 2 ladies in the breakfast area taking care of all the guests. They were super friendly, cheerful and made my morning.

Excellent stay for one night. Pool and fitness center were clean and easy to access. All staff was helpful. Room was very clean. I felt safe and slept well here.

We had an amazing stay this weekend. We were here for a concert and everything was close. The highlight of our stay was Ms Betty at breakfast. She was awesome! So friendly and helpful. A delight.

Very nice hotel, my husband and I have been to quite a few hotels here in Huntsville/Madison area and this hotel is by far the best. From the housekeeping to the breakfast staff it was very pleasant. I really loved the fact that when I walked off the elevator on the third floor on my way to our room it smelled like cleaning products 😊
Then I walked in our room and it smelled very clean most other hotels have a very musty/mildew smell and I can’t stand that, Holiday Inn y’all get an A+ for that. Many choices for breakfast, it was hot food and very tasty. My coffee wasn’t hot enough for me and one of the breakfast attendants got me a hotter cup for the kitchen coffee machine I really appreciated that. You all do hospitality very well and I hope you all keep up the good work.

I had a good experience here. Although it doesn't have an indoor pool or spa, it is located outside and relatively dirty. The service was still phenomenal by the staff. In the morning getting breakfast, the staff was so lovely and happy willing to help. It made my mornings worth waking up to.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with many hot and cold options. Showers were new and nice and hot. Mattress and sheets were the BEST part. I definitely would book again!

The hotel was super clean and the beds super comfy! We had our one year old with us and the entire staff was so kind! There was a staff member named Betty who helped us at breakfast and she was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! ❤ Betty was so helpful and nice to everyone dinging in the breakfast hall, and did everything with a smile! She was so kind and brightened our entire day before we had to get going on a long road trip with our baby. Thank you Betty for showing us and our little one that there is still kind people in this crazy world!

We had a very nice 2 night stay. Check-in was a smooth process although the gentleman checking us in could've been warmer and made it better but all areas of the hotel were very clean and modern looking. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold options and the two ladies who worked the breakfast area( both named Betty) were very polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend anyone stay here.
