Mi Chavelita Mexican Grill

I come to this place when I come into town. Great spot. Went yesterday (May 14th, 2024). I needed some meat not cooked in onion or garlic. I have a family member who can't eat them, or they will get sick. The man in the kitchen offered to make this meat for me. Super cool from small business. I wanted to let them know that I appreciate them and I for sure will be back again. Thanks again Mi Chavelita!

The food was delicious with good portion sizes - had the grilled double steak bowl. It was so good, I came back the next day and ordered the same thing.

New to Emporia was looking for some good tacos. I got some pastor and shrimp tacos. My hubby got the shrimp cocktail.Bomb 😋 great taste and not stingy with the meat. I will definitely keep coming back. Customer service was 💯 super friendly and restaurant was very clean.

The 20 taco box was amazing!!! We grabbed all steak but you can get 2 meats. This was a simple movie night meal and WOW! The sauces they provided where all so delicious also!! Go get it guys!

It was recommended by a friend and I really loved the food. I had a special for the day - garlic shrimp with salad and Mexican rice and ice tea. I got 4 flour tortillas and grilled shrimp (2 sizes) with grilled onions ( best I've ever had) and minced garlic. The salad was delicious and had avocados in it. I also had Mexican rice instead of spicy rice. It reminded me of my mom's Spanish rice. I'm sure I will go back and try a burrito bowl.

Fast casual burrito place with more than just burritos. Good quality food, good flavor.

In town for a wedding and had a large party. Very accommodating when we needed to change time, AMAZING food, everyone left stuffed and carrying out leftovers. Huge proportions! 15 people was about $10 per person including drinks and tax.

The customer service is always friendly and polite. I was just in there today at 330 and the lady was so kind. Their fresh Mexican food is delicious and affordable. You get quite a bit for the money.

We love grabbing a quick lunch here. We normally get burritos or burrito bowls. Delicious, fast, and a good price.
The atmosphere tends to be rather loud which can make it difficult to chat.

Amazing food!! This is THE place to eat when you come to visit Emporia. There are other great places, but this is an absolute favourite of myself, family and coworkers!

If you eat here you'll never enjoy Chipotle again because this is waaaaay better.

Better than any Chipotle. Large portions and fantastic fresh ingredients. I love the Al Pastor. They also make some of the best Mexican rice in town! We are back visiting from Tennessee and had to stop here. So worth it.
