Moving to the Rockford area, I was thrilled to discover Kegel's Bike Shop. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed and instantly part of their vibrant community. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making my visit a truly pleasant experience.

The bike I purchased is fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoy riding it. Knowing that Kegel's offers top-notch service for tune-ups, advice, and great selection of the new bikes gives me great peace of mind. I am confident that I'll always receive five-star service whenever I need it.

Buying a bike at Kegel’s is a core memory. The owner greets you and shakes your hand, the entire staff stop working and join in on the celebration of new bike day. They remember your face, your kids school, your life milestones. Kegel’s is more than a bike shop — it’s extended family. We won’t shop anywhere else for bikes or accessories.

My son recently has started to get into BMX and we had been looking all over town to find a great bike... when I tell you the customer service was incredible at Kegel's it is an understatement. The whole staff went out of their way to help my 8 year old find the perfect bike, make sure the seat height was perfect and was just the absolute best shopping experience. Very much a community based business and a true Rockford gem! Can not recommend enough!

My wife and I came in looking for our first high-quality bikes and we could not have had a nicer experience. Every employee was very welcoming and accommodating. Pat walked us through everything we needed to know and was genuinely interested in getting us what was best for us without upselling us on something we didn’t need. He was nice enough to take the extra time to get us the right fit, and he even assembled other options for us to try out over the course of a couple days. He stayed late after closing time without rushing us out of the store because those were the only times that worked for us. Just an all-around fantastic experience. Can’t say enough nice things about Pat and Kegel’s.

Robb was so awesome very friendly and willing to help. Didn’t matter what or how many times I called he always helpful. I definitely will be buying my son a bike from them. Looking forward to do a lot more business with them and especially Robb.

I needed some parts for a 50 year old bicycle to get the brakes to work properly. Pat in the Service Department found what I needed. The bike is serviceable once again. Thanks to Pat and to Kegel's Bicycle!

What an amazing bike buying experience. The shop had all the upgrades I wanted in stock. I had a great time shopping in the store while the staff prepped my bike. They made sure it was safe to ride and trail ready… I was in and out in no time and with the bike of my dreams… Thanks to all the Kegel’s staff.

Had such a nice experience at Kegel’s. Ashlyn greeted us the minute we walked in and helped us find the perfect bike. Robb was also there to help. He took pictures of me with my new bicycle. I just loved our shopping experience there and will continue to shop there for all our bicycle needs.

We recently moved from Texas to Rockford and our son needed a bike. The Kegel’s staff was extremely helpful in sizing and adjusting the bike to his body. He is very happy with his ride and we are happy with Kegel’s!

I am a beginner getting into cycling and my first experience at Kegels couldn't have been better. Extremely friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable. I needed to have a cable replaced and the bike tuned last minute before my frist group ride and the took care of it immediately and gave me some tips. I highly recommend this bike shop and will be back for anything I need in the future. As a dad, I also walked away with some killer dad jokes from the staff as well!

Love this place, they are really helpful and made getting my daughter's and my bike set up very easy. Highly recommend if you need any repairs or just want someone who knows what they are doing to check your bike out!

I call Kegel's from Phoenix to order parts because they understand BMX and the little things that make these bikes unique. Aaron gives great advice on parts and why one part is better than another. I can get the local bike shop experience online from Kegels and that's rare in 2024. So, Kegels is my local shop even though I live in Phoenix.

Got a great price on my bike. Aaron & Pat were really helpful in getting the bike fitted for me and making sure everything was set right before I took the bike out the door.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Bought a 10 speed bike from Kegel 48 years ago when they were in downtown Rockford. Have had both my and my great great nephews bikes serviced at the current location. Fair prices and all questions were answered. Huge selection of bikes and accessories.

Great shop stopped on here while on my 10 hr break decided to stop in while on my mountain bike picked up a great helmet and mirror staff was super nice I recommend this for the specialized bike riders or just your everyday joe. Nice to see small businesses thriving.
