Eisenhower Park

This is the cutest park ever. We just moved into the area, I tried looking online for parks as I haven’t seen one while driving. This one came up on my maps search. When I pulled into the development it was in, I thought maybe it was only for that community and no outsiders, as everyone stared as we were driving in. But no one said anything and my kids had a blast. There was a friendly neighborhood car that was playing with them on the playground and a trail which we didn’t get to experience. Towards the end of our trip, a lot of older kids came and sat on the rising toys, which was a little upsetting as my 2 year old sat there waiting for his turn on the car that they were just sitting in and talking, but aside from that we had a great time

The trails along the Savannah River are amazing. Me and my wife walk them several times a week. We love it and so will you!! I love this precious wife of mine blowing me kisses!!

I was really enjoying my walk until a smoker arrived and sat on one of the benches . All parks should band smoking. Especially around children.

Close to a lake and the location suits environment perfectly.

This is a great spot to park and get your weekly long runs in. Meet up with your friends and cross the river to find that runner's high. You'll appreciate the in depth conversations as you suffer between the tree trunks.

A great place to hook up with the canal trail. It looks a little sketchy while walking from the parking lot to the actual canal trail (ya know, cause it's along a railroad and under a freeway), BUT it's quite nice to have another access point.

Great access to the Augusta Canal and a really nice walking trail through the park. Kids love using the empty ballfields in the off season to fly kites. We love it!

This place is the best! Clean park and friendly people. There are always people around to answer a question if needed and friendly faces to watch a good game. I would recommend this park to anyone as long as it is not masters week!

A friend and I just walked through multiple trails and found a path to a really beautiful waterfall... Ps it was slippery 😂 and in the end of a trail we ended up at a circle k. It was interesting but fun

Love to come here and take a hike on the canal.

Loved the trail to the trail head, and to the clearing. Next time I'll ride my bike and bring a water bottle. Beautiful scenery, very tranquil.

Awesome quick little bike trails. Love that it is one way so I don't have to worry about opposite direction traffic.

Always very clean and i never see any bugs. My son and i enjoy the train being so close.

Good access to the canal trails here without driving all the way down to the main entrance in Columbia County.

It also has several baseball diamonds.

They offer a 1/3 mile paved walking track. Nice quiet area.

Clean and I felt safe here. Come down and toss a ball around with your family. Its free too...
