Everyone was very nice. I bought a hand bike pump because I forgot mine and was on my way to the trails. I couldn’t figure it out and apparently lost a piece😂. A gentleman who worked there was super helpful trying to help me figure out what I was doing wrong. The woman in the bike service area saw our struggle and came in to help. She figured out I had put the piece in wrong and lost the spring in the process. Without hesitation she swapped it out for me. Great customer experience and joined the membership. Will be back🤙

Convenient and arranged as many other REI locations I have been to in the past. They have clothing and equipment for hiking, camping, biking, and watersports. They also have a used equipment section which I had not seen at REI in the past. Fast check out and found what we needed.

This is my favorite REI out of all the ones in the Triangle. You can always get a parking space and there rarely ever a line. You can get your bike in and serviced the same day most of the time. The staff are friendly, helpful and talkative. It's hard not to buy something when you're here :-)

Just had a great experience at REI. Was pleasantly surprised to realize that they are relatively size inclusive and has many items in up to at least women’s 3x. I feel like pretty much every company could be doing better at including folks in larger bodies, but I definitely appreciate REI for doing better than many places and actually having larger sizes stocked in the store (not just online).

The best. Got me a CTY bike from here. Love what the CoOp stands for. And they adjusted the reach on the bike and tuned me up quickly the next day without having to make an appointment. I really felt like a priority as a customer here. Special thanks to Kate for info on the membership and extra special shout-out to Sara for the attention to detail on my bike adjustments

I went to this REI to look for a backpack, but I was struggling to figure out what exactly I needed, and this employee named Chris came up and helped me out. He was very knowledgable, kind, easygoing and thorough with taking my measurements and telling me about all the different options for hiking backpacks, then he even filled a backpack with weights and had me walk around the store and make adjustments as needed. This is a great place to go if you're new to hiking and camping and need some help to get you started. It's worth it to go in person for the expertise provided!

Bike staff was outstanding in every respect: responsive, thoughtful, efficient, prompt, and highly skilled. Went in for a tubeless wheel setup and it was done with perfection in under 15 min. REI is fortunate to have such a great staff. I just read from another review about the possibility of unions there. I hope valuable people like those in the bike shop realize they deserve protections to enjoy some decency in employment. Good people all around. They deserve the best.

Rendan, Chris, and Lira were very helpful and professional when I went in to get a bike rack installed. Also Lira is beautiful 😍

Staff is great, love this location. Always get good service and it's well stocked.

Blake in the shoe department was incredibly helpful in finding my next pair of hiking boots. He was very knowledgeable, listened to my wants and needs, asked great questions to get a better idea of what would work for me, and recommended some perfect options. He was also juggling a number of customers seamlessly. Would come back to Blake for my next pair!

Tracy was super helpful and had tons of patience with us as we asked a bunch of questions regarding the right gear for a big upcoming trip. She and Eliza were kind and straightforward with lots of great info and support. We will be back to this REI for all of our outdoor needs!

Great bike shop service. I had a chain rub issue with the front derailleur in my road bike. I had spent about 2-3 hrs playing with it the day before and ended up making it worse :( I walked in and they were able to fix it in 10-15 mins right then and there! (Special shout out out to Patrick)! Great and very knowledgeable service!

Have been SO pleased with this store, from customer service and product selection to how they handled the many challenges that came with COVID. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful; don't think I've gone in here once without at least two staff members checking in. (Nice and low pressure, too. Doesn't feel intrusive at all.) Always clean. Many staff members with great knowledge of appropriate gear, how to fit boots/packs/etc. Thank you!!!

Had some issues with hiking and not having the proper gear, came here and let me tell you, the assistants were not only helpful but super polite and patient. I'm a large man, so a lot of the time clothing stores don't have my size, which was the case here as well, at first. However, one of the attendants went above and beyond to get close to my size and long and behold, she got me 4 different pairs of pants to try on. Same situation with finding hiking shoes, in which the guy there went back and gave me some insight on wide toe shoes vs regular sized ones. Today I found an issue applying my bonus card and called in, they sent me a card and I was up and ready to go in 10 minutes. Extremely helpful staff and they all deserve bonuses for such great customer service. Everyone took mask policy seriously and did a great job following COVID guidelines. Will definitely be checking out this store again and I'm happy to be a lifetime member.

I am a novice backpacker, and I stopped by this store to pick up some gear for a camping trip that I am planning. Tyler, an employee, approached me and provided me with some extremely helpful information about the gear I was shopping for. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and thanks to his help I have everything I need for my upcoming trip. Every employee was delightful to interact with, and I'm certain that I'll visit again soon. Thanks!

This is my favorite REI store in the Triangle. Casey was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose a hiking backpack that fit me, and took extra time with me to answer my questions and to make sure I found one that fit just right. I come here for all my gear because of the excellent return policy in case something goes wrong with a product, and the dividend for members is great.

This is my favorite REI in North Carolina by far. The staff here is super helpful with any questions that you may have while shopping around. They have a very large selection for all of your outdoor needs. The quality of the products they carry really impresses me everytime I’m here. Love the atmosphere in the store as well, always a great shopping experience.

This bike shop has served me well for 12 years. They are personable, reasonable and totally helpful.
