Jennifer is an Angel sent from Heaven! She helped saved my babies life. For six weeks straight my pup had been loosing weight due to the fact that she could not hold anything in her system - No food or water. I spent the last weekend in tears, thinking these are going to be the last days I had left with my baby. I literately felt I was just watching her die as she was just a body laying in bed breathing. I took her to three different vets and racked up over $1000 in vet bills and no one could figure out what was wrong with her. The next recommendation by the vet was to cut her open to check for a "spot" that could be cancer. Jennifer was highly recommended by my employer and I quickly asked her for help. She immediately made time to see and hear me out. She recommended some natural remedies and vitamins for my pup and with in 3 days she was able to start keeping food and water in her system. Her black liquid poop slowly started coming back to normal poop. I am now three weeks in and my baby is running, playing and back to her normal behavior. Thank you Jennifer!!

Central Compounding was able to create specialty cream I use for skin a condition, that was otherwise unavailable through other pharmacies, including online. They are always very friendly and their pricing is fair. They have a text messaging communication system that is very convenient. I’d highly recommend them to anyone seeking to fill a non-standard formulation of a medication.

Central compounding was efficient in getting my medicine complete for me to pick up in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly and the provider took her time to explain to me about how to use and store the medication. I will be returning!

My vet sent me to Central Compounding Center for my dog’s heart medication. My experience with them has been beyond amazing! Everyone I’ve dealt with there is kind, patient and competent with a good attitude (not easy to find these days). To top it off, you can opt to communicate and do everything by text. They’ll remind you when you need a refill, let you know when your Rx is ready, etc, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting or running out of your Rx. AND you can even communicate with a real, live human via text to help with more specifics. They are willing to go the extra mile in every way to ensure your Rx needs are met. This level of competency and customer service is especially comforting and reassuring to me when the service they’re providing is literally keeping my beloved dog alive.

Something happened and my doc said I needed to come in at 8:15 the next day so he could check it out, but I needed to bring my RX with me. It was 4pm when he told me and they hadn’t called my RX into central compounding yet. I get over to central at 4:30 and while there’s only an hour to close, they made it work clearly going above and beyond to help me in my dire state and get me my RX before close. They allowed me to stay ten minutes past close while the pharmacist finished my order.

Will 100% use them again for all my compounding needs.

Several years ago, I experienced an illness which required me to take several new medications, one of which was chemotherapy. With an illness or just body chemistry, we don't always respond the same to medicine, and I had complications.

I have been a customer of Central Compounding for years and had already had the opportunity to work with Jennifer and her wonderful staff on many occasions. I was aware that she was extremely knowledgeable about the supplements she sold and also knew that she is constantly in research about these supplements and their uses. I felt very confident that I could trust her recommendations. So when complications arose with my traditional treatment, I contacted her for help.

In combination with the treatment I was receiving from my doctor, and with his approval, Jennifer studied my total body chemistry and formulated the most complete combination of supplements that "my" body needed in order to work in tandem with the medications my doctor had prescribed. The goal was to promote the healthiest immune system possible and to help me tolerate the side effects that came along with my treatment. I am happy to say that this protocol worked very well for me.

I am so grateful for the individual analysis of my needs and now, three years later, I continue to work with Jennifer in order to keep my immune system healthy!

EDIT: I have since realized the issue I previously stated was with my doctor's office. I can now see why there was such discourse and frustration. I apologize to the staff for my heated review. They are really kind individuals. I've had this same issue with other pharmacies since and it has been traced back to communication problems on the provider's side. Please accept my apology.

I have been using this pharmacy simply because I thought it was the only compounding pharmacy around. They screw up 100% of the time. They don't accept e-scripts, they lose faxes, they don't answer the phone and barely ever return calls. I was given an actual allergen - the reason I go to them in the first place. They've lost my prescription almost every time and it takes forever to fill them. One time, it took over a month to fill 1 prescription. I've been waiting a week now for a much needed medication. My husband took off work and drove to the pharmacy because their phones were out of service and I could not reach them. The guy told my husband it was sent out yesterday - actually read notes - just to find out it wasn't even filled yet. I've tried to give them the benefit of a doubt because they seem so nice, but they are totally incompetent. I'm transferring my prescriptions to a compounding pharmacy in Raleigh. My sister uses them and she gets her meds in the mail in 2 days. Central Compounding is just unbelievably ridiculous.

Every staff member I have dealt with at Central Compounding Center South seems to go out of their way to provide complete, professional service. They clearly have patients’ best interests and best outcome as their priority. They are very generous with their time and expertise. A special shout out to ZJ who has done all of the above. You will be very happy with the experience going to this specialty pharmacy.

I am extremely pleased with the service I have gotten with Central Compounding. The pharmacist Donna Ferrell is always available to speak to me and answer any questions I have about my hormone replacement therapy. I'm happy to find a pharmacy that has knowledgeable staff and can get my medications to me fast.

My experience with CCCS was wonderful. We have a very sick dog who needed a prescription which is only available through a compounding pharmacy. CCCS was able to fill the RX for $55.00, while the other compounding pharmacy quoted us $245.00. Most importantly, CCCS filled the RX in less than 24 hours and got us the prescription by noon on Friday, so our dog could start it immediately, without having to wait through the weekend, until Monday morning. I highly recommend them

Dr. Jennifer Burch and her entire staff has always gone above and beyond for me, my parents, and even my pets. No matter how busy Dr. Burch may be, she has always made herself available to offer advice on my prescriptions or to simply answer a question for me. Have been using Central Compounding for custom-compounded prescriptions for a number of years...medications that have made a tremendous difference in my quality of life. Without them I'd have little choice except to use big pharma meds that don't work for me or nothing at all. I'm so grateful to have such easy access to a pharmacy of this type and caliber. I called over 15 pharmacies all over NC looking for a prescription. When I called this pharmacy & they said yes I cannot tell you how relieved I was. They have answered all of my questions, they are honest, and they made sure I was informed on how to use this medication. I can not recommend them enough! Everyone I spoke to has been friendly and the 45 minute drive is worth it!
