El MONTE MEXICAN FOOD

Came here based on a recommendation and was on this side of town so decided to stop in. Food was fresh and good portion sizes and service was good. Drive thru window available we dined in and will be back. I had the steak chimichanga and my wife had the Chicken nachos and will return when in area.

This place was great!
I got the steak nachos (lunch) and my friend got the chimichanga. We both got cheese dip and really just should have gotten one.
I took home half of my nachos, but I drank my WHOLE horchada. It. Was. So. Good.
Great service, quick food, and CLEAN. Pretty sure we saw a lady get down and scrub a spot on the floor! They clean the tables thoroughly after each guest.

It's a small place, I tried for the first time and decided to dined in, the service was great, steak fajitas and their hot salsas were really good. I will come back to try more things of the menu.

This place was great. Tried it out for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Its definitely needed in the boro. The dishes are fairly priced and the staff are very friendly. I will be going back in the near future!

Edit: I still visit this establishment every so often. Ordered a to-go order that was supposed to be shredded chicken nachos and it ended up being chicken chunks. I didn't check it before I left. It's highly disappointing bc its literally chicken on some chips with a little bit of queso. I wanted the shredded chicken bc it has the peppers and stuff in it. I live too far away to go back today. At least they remembered the Pico! Always double check your food folks.

10/10 we had barely sat down before the food was on the table. BEST Mexican food we've had in years!! Staff was super friendly and lively. Dining area was clean and plenty of choice to sit down. Will most definitely come back!

Nice, affordable mexican food with a decent variety of options. The birria tacos are my favorite. The dining area is a little small but it's never so packed I feel uncomfortable.

Amazing 🤩 It’s across town from me but since I found this place I love it. As far as mexican restaurants go this is the biggest competitor. The food is perfectly seasoned and spiced. it’s clean and fresh and the staff is awesome too. and the service was fast. on top of that they have a drive thru as well as dine in. I only have great things to say about this place. highly recommended and worth driving through traffic. I mean all of murfreesboro is traffic pick your battles. perfectly spiced and seasoned and my tummy doesn’t ache after i eat. thank you for creating this place

Great food and service! These people are always nice. My one disappointment is that they changed the pastor street taco recipe. When it was the shredded pork with pineapple it was the best food I’ve ever tasted. Now it’s some sort of ground pork. What happened with this? Would love to have the original recipe back! Can we make that happen?

This place was soooo good!! The location wasn't as impressive as much as some other restaurants, but don't let that deter you! It might be a small hole in the wall, but they give great food with big portions for the price. The staff were all super friendly too! I highly recommend and look forward to going back!

Big portions of great food! Though this restaurant has a small dining area, there is drive-through pickup and takeout is easy, too. Service is fast and they have a range of margaritas and beers. We really enjoy this place!

This has become one of my go-to Mexican restaurants in Murfreesboro. The food is quick. It’s counter-service, but tastes authentic. Really friendly staff and patrons

We’ve had it before and sometimes it’s hit or miss. However when we had it last week it blew us out of the water! We got the pastor nachos, birria tacos, and California burrito. I HIGHLY recommend the pastor nachos and birria tacos. They are delicious and such tender meats. The California burrito was your standard burrito- nothing special but it was good. I really like the option of a drive thru Mexican restaurant because it’s so convenient.

THE FOOD IS BUSS AND THE SERVICE IS THROUGH THE ROOF GOOD!

This place is awesome compared to most mexican restaurants in town. Their nachos pastor are awesome, and the prices there are really competitive ($9 for like 2 lbs of nachos). Also, they've got a drive thru around the back of the store which is a plus for easy pickup. I've been here 4-5 times so far and no screwed up orders or bad food yet for me. It may not have been everyone's experience, but mine so far has been stellar.

My wife and I went in recently to have an early dinner and we were absolutely delighted by the staff and of the food. I got the Pollo con Queso and my wife got Taco Salad and we were blown away by the flavor and were full within minutes of our order being delivered. Definitely gonna be a regular visit for us.

Very tasty! I especially liked the alvacado salad. It was really fresh and the flavors really compliment the other other entrees. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big.. I will definitely be back for more.
