Sakinah was God sent. I prayed and was looking for someone who could do my sister locs maintenance after having a bad experience with a previous loctician and she exceeding all of my expectations. She was professional, informative, patient, and caring. She made me feel like she valued me as her client. And of course her work is amazing and meticulous. I wish I knew of her prior to beginning my sister loc journey. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who is considering sister locs.

It's my 3rd time going to "Lengendary Locs&Lashes!" The 1st time I called and booked an appointment to my microlocs installed, the owner(Akita) explained the process, she was very professional and knowledgeable in her work. During my install she made sure I was comfortable. I like her personally and how welcoming she is. I had given birth and was worried that I wouldn't be able to get my hair done, but she made sure she took me in and it was her day off and that was the only day I would have someone to watch the baby for me. It's not easy to find empathetic people! She treats people with kindness and respect. Book that appointment you won't regret it!

The best around town. I remember just calling her explaining to her what was going on with my hair, she was very helpful , even though she had a client, she told me what product I needed to buy and how to apply it to my hair. Weeks later I was able to go in to get my hair done and I was very impressed with her work. She's not all about the money guys, she literally care about our hair. At this point I don't want nobody else to do my hair but her. Very professional indeed. Best I've seen in Durham 💯 #appreciated

My regular loctician had to cancel last minute Saturday ( for a good reason). I get a retie every 6weeks. I search on Google for loctician in my area( Durham, Nc.) I came across Sakinah name & number on Monday.I reached out to her & she gave me a consultation on that Monday afternoon.
I explained my situation ( of birthday coming up on Friday and that I wanted a fresh retie & she worked me into her busy schedule that Tuesday past her closing time. I was treated as if she had known me for a while great atmosphere. My hair looks & feel amazing .I will return.

My stylist is awesome! My sisterlocks are always on point. Whenever she does my retighten, I'm always getting so many compliments. She's always provides excellent service. Whenever I'm in her presence, I'm always feeling like I'm special and I'm the most important client that she has. That's how she makes you feel. She's the type of person that never meets a stanger. It's been four weeks since my microloc install. I'm enjoying hair freedom and my locs are thriving. I've gotten so many comments on them. Shakinah did a great job on my install. I had my first retie/retightening on 4/6/23. Shakinah was quick with my retie, evaluated my hair and scalp to make sure their were no issues and gave some pointers to help my locs continue to thrive.
