Tunes Recording Studio Durham

Working at Tunes Recording has been the BEST decision of my music career! Not only has Mack provided a great working environment, he has absolutely set the standard of the engineer/artist relationship workflow to get your projects completed with satisfaction worth bragging about. In all my years of working with engineers, this is the first time I can say I’ve received the CLEANEST sound to my music and we have only just begun. I never felt relief like this in a long time and started to question if I should be doing Music. So hats off to you Mack. You know what you’re doing and outside of production, you keep it real as a character. Longevity and prosperity is well deserving because of your work ethic. If you get the opportunity to work with Mack, you will not be disappointed. And I’ve been through hell and back with engineers to make this statement.

My experience at the Tunes Recording Studio was amazing. I specifically enjoyed the ability to tour the facility and discuss with Mack the possibilities that the studio offers before booking. Mack was extremely professional and answered all of my questions during my consultation. The studio displayed a nice aesthetic along with the ability to record, shoot a music video, and even conduct a podcast. The pricing is fair and Mack makes you feel welcomed each time that you arrive for a session. This studio is definitely a gem that deserves more attention and I will continue to conduct business there.

Honestly, best experience I've ever had at a studio. 💜🖤 Mack will put you on, all of the songs I needed recorded + mixed came out past my expectations and I was hella impressed. He was very easy to work with, had a really friendly demeanor and the studio looks hella rad, clean and has a sick layout. I 10000% recommend this joint. 😈

Honestly it’s really difficult to put in words the experience that Mack and Darian provided. Definitely the best studio that my artists and I have been to in NC. They take pride in their work and they really listen to what you’re envisioning this song to sound like. Darian was mad patient, and suggested slight adjustments here and there. Don’t even get me started on the studio lights…. Go check them out!!!

When it comes to studios tunes is the place to be. From the minute you arrive Mack does a great job of making you feel at ease and at home, with an excellent aesthetic and completely customizable lights to fit your mood the studio is clean and can accommodate not only music but podcast as well. Mack is very friendly knowledgeable and open to you as an artist, after booking only a 3 hour window with him at the end of the session we were already discussing booking a whole day. This was hands down my best studio experience ever hands down 10/10 would recommend to any artist looking for a studio

This studio is amazing and easily the best you can find in Durham, NC. Mack is great to work with, he’s very knowledgeable about music and lets the artist be who they are creatively, while also providing advice if needed. Everytime I finish a session I can’t wait to go back. I’ve been to a few different studios and this is my favorite one that I ever been to personally so if you’re looking to make great music come here. 👍🏾

After reading the reviews and perusing his website, I called to ask about his studio. I believed that this would be the ideal location as I am beginning a project. He was extremely on time and knowledgeable. I scheduled a consultation and tour, and when we met, he took the time to explain the best way to begin my project, the best course of action financially, etc. The tour was excellent. He took me around the podcast room, the recording studio, and showed me the equipment he uses for recording/mixing.
I love the clouds and led lighting. It creates an inviting atmosphere and makes you feel at ease.

He was upbeat from the beginning of our session today, which made things more pleasant. He is extremely informative, patient, and laid back. He always has good knowledge about the project and treats it as if it were his. He provides more information than I asked for in response to every query I ask. He has a great deal of passion for what he does. His work reflects this.

I have recorded at several studios over the last 30yrs and I have to say this session was the best I ever had. Mack wasn't just recording me. He was involved in my project. I recommend Mack & Tunes Studio if you are serious about your music career.

Left the studio at 9pm and had my track mixed and mastered the same night. Great guy, great atmosphere and he works his tail off to create your vision. 10/10 experience

Mack is amazing at what he does and how he treats his customers. When I asked him about details/information about booking a session, he got back to me right away and answered all of my questions. When I got there, he introduced himself and explained everything he did in full detail. He showed me some of the projects he made and they were very impressive. The studio is very clean and very cool. Tons of led lights and the graffiti sticker on the wall is very creative. I recorded part of a song in the booth and he did his absolute best to make it sound like a mainstream song. You can tell he has a passion for what he does, as he is extremely well at producing/mixing/etc. I am looking forward to coming back again soon.

Mack is awesome. Most professional setup I’ve seen in North Carolina, great vibes and a great space. He’s an efficient engineer who is very well versed with the technical side of music. Great with taking the original vision and enhancing it with his own personal one while he works with the artist. Additionally, he works with great vibes and zero conflict, only making suggestions and leaving all final decisions to the artist. Mack is a great studio engineer and anyone trying to make music, new or old, would do phenomenal work here for both him and you to be proud of.
