UCHealth Heart and Vascular Clinic - Loveland

To start, the journey to figure out what was actually wrong with me was very difficult. It took almost a year and a half to finally understand what needed to happen. When I finally got the prognosis, that's when it got real.
I visited with Dr. McDermott and she recommended open heart surgery...scary news, but needed.

Once I showed up for the surgery, every person in the Heart and Vascular Clinic, I mean EVERY PERSON was very attentive and you could tell they were being genuine.
Post op, everybody in ICU were amazing as well. I really cannot express how amazing they were.
If I had to complain about one thing, getting shaved from my to toes to my nose was not fun. Hahaha

I am not advocating for OHS, but if it is needed, this is the best place to go.

I have been going to Heart Center of the Rockies for almost 20 years. Dr. Doing has been my cardiologist for all of those years. Three years ago, Dr. Doing and Dr. Glatterer totally saved my life by rushing me into emergency surgery. I will forever be grateful to them. Dr. Doing has a wealth of knowledge, the best personality, and the nicest smile. I would never go anywhere else.

Dr Miller's care , concern and expertise are phenomenal. The whole office is effective, friendly and super responsive. The team is truly outstanding!!!

Dr. David Katz is a very personable and caring cardiologist! He made sure that I understood what was going on and even made a personal call to me after my initial visit, just to see if I had more questions.
The medical staff was also amazing! My nurses, Robin and Jessie took very good care of me and my wife!
I don't like hospitals, but if I have to go, I highly recommend UCHealth. I think they must have a policy to be friendly and excellent! :-)

Words will not adequately express what I feel about this visit. It started when I had to cancel the initial hospital follow-up because dad was too weak, and I was not available. An amazing, NURTURING receptionist kept trying to find a closer appointment and was creative looking at different sites, and then put dad on the waitlist and amazingly I got the notification that a sooner appointment was available. Cassandra Bigly was the most compassionate and knowledgeable person we could have spoken too. She spent over an hour with dad and covered every possible potential medication and treatment and answered every question I had been accumulating. We studied his EKG together and explored possible tests and medications and risks and benefits. I have some medical knowledge and had been really studying dad's case and no doctor could have been more thorough or put things in more understandable terms. Dad followed what she was saying and, in the end, said he agreed with her "uncomplicated" approach. One outstanding part of the visit was that she graciously addressed every thought and concern I had including the cause of his declining heart function and whether ischemic workup would be beneficial. She treated dad with incredible respect and dignity and asked his thoughts at the end and listened compassionately and patiently as he slowly described his thoughts. Then he abruptly at the end of the visit said he needed to use the restroom and it was obvious he required assistance. A male nurse jumped to attention and Cassandra and he patiently assisted dad even though he took quite a long time. Once again, great respect and dignity. I am not sure how much longer dad has, but I felt so good after this visit that we were choosing the best path for him. She ordered the appropriate blood tests that had been on my mind--like she read my mind! I would recommend her enthusiastically and also trust her with all family cardiology needs.

Dr Hatch has the best bedside manner. He is professional and took the time to answer all of my questions and explained all the details. I am grateful he is my cardiologist.

I would highly recommend Dr. Heath to anyone. His expertise is finominal and I was thankful he was able to provide my care. UC Health is wonderful...very helpful and friendly.

I had an unbelievable experience here, every single staff member was above and beyond excellent.
I wish I could remember all the nurses names, they were comforting and very professional, kudos to each and every one of them ‼‼ I was here because of a heart attack from moving too much snow, Dr. Stoltz was my cardiologist, he was very thorough and gave me a great sense of well being knowing he would be the one working on me.
He placed 3 stents and was very efficient and a true pro, I take my hat off to him. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dr. Weinreich was most impressive with his curiosity and need to fully understand my condition. My wife accompanied me and he effortlessly included her in the discussion of my condition. I had asked for their best "diagnostician" and we were really pleased with his comprehension of our issues.
His analysis, diagnoses was crisp and clear. He fully explained his proposal for treatment, listened to our questions of same and together we arrived at a point of uniform agreement. He gained our trust and my wife and I mutually felt his care and competence. Anxiety reduced, now on with the treatment which we fully understand.

Dr. Hatch is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is thorough and listens to you!

This is one of the best run offices I've ever dealt with. The staff is very efficient while being friendly and caring. The doctors that I have seen are top notch. I had Dr Ellis for AFib Ablation and he is a very skilled surgeon and a truly compassionate and caring doctor. I trust him completely. I have recommended him to friends as well.

MCR rates high on our list of Medical Centers!! The staff are very friendly and helpful!! Dr Iftikhar is the most professional and caring cardiologist that we have had the privilege of knowing!! We will highly recommend MCR to any of our family and friends!!

Phenomenal! My experience has almost been fun. Upon entering in cardiac care, every aspect of efficiency, education and individual specific care was met and exceeded. Dr. Justin Strote is on another level in patient care. Whether in the office or doing a procedure; always educational and kind. Dr. Ellis is a master in his interactions with his patients during consultation and surgical procedure. A true artist The surgical techs in both procedures were exceptional and precise as well as interactive. Shout out to Steve, Thank you for making me feel like the VIP. Every person on any level of care has been outstanding. These individuals are life changing and life saving. Thank you.

Everyone at Medical Center of the Rockies has been professional and positive from the ER to back surgeries and neck surgeries all the nurses and doctors are always very professional recently I’ve been seeing a cardiologist and he seems very thorough.
