Motel California

This is Donna, owner, manager, and housekeeper of Motel California. This is in response to Roger and Jennifer Blouin's negative comments. I waited to respond until after they had left the area. In response to Roger saying he blocked me, the only contact I made after they left was a text asking where they left the key, which I never found, so I changed the locks. Roger and Jennifer stayed 4 months. During that time they broke into my laundry room and didn't own up to it until a neighbor confirmed their wrongdoing. After repeated reminders to ensure their shower curtain remained closed and to not leave a wet rug and towels on the floor, as the floor and walls were getting ruined, they simply ignored me. After Roger and I confirmed there were no cracks in the shower, she takes a video of water pouring out the bottom of the shower. They then exit the motel saying they had been reassigned to a job in Washington, but merely moved to another motel in the area. I then go into the shower to see extensive cracking which was not there before, which looked like someone had taken a sledge hammer to it. I say Jennifer, but cannot confirm her name, as the ID she presented on check-in said "NOT FOR REAL ID PURPOSES". I have people who have been with me for over a year. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator and we have free internet. We allow hot plates and have a gas and charcoal grill free for guests to use. We have DISH with extensive channels. Come check us out !

If you are fortunate enough to stay at this very small, quaint Hotel, then by all means do so. The owner is absolutely wonderful! The prices are very reasonable. They spared no expense to make you feel comfortable and at home. Very quiet I promise you you will really like Donna. The water's hot, the beds are comfortable. Very clean.

I would definitely return, the owner Ms Donna was very accommodating. ..room was very spacious/clean. No complaints here.. Thanks so much for having us here.

Donna is great to work with older motel but very clean and comfortable. Has gas and charcoal bbq gill for guest use which is great

Friendly Staff!!! Great place to stay when you just can't go home. Very acommadating for my special needs. I wish that they had jacoozies. The only thing that could be better was if the VCR Tapes were a bit more current.

Donna was very nice and the rooms are clean. They have a BBQ grill on sight for people to use and I felt the price was fair. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend them to others.

Price is good, older but clean and perfect for out of town construction workers like myself. Cheapest place in town with weekly rates
