Grand Casino Hinckley

This is one of my favorite casinos to visit. They have a great variety of slots. The smoking and non-smoking areas are great. A gambler can choose what works best for them. For people who complain about smoking or non-smoking, this casino is doing it right! It is a great model to follow for those who have gone 100% one way or the other.

The Provisions dining area is excellent with good quality and economical food choices. Marge's wild rice soup is amazing.

The Stories Diner has an excellent design and a good choice of midday foods.

We often dry-camp with our MH in the parking lot south of the Rival House. They have been very good about letting us do that at least five different times.

How do you improve on an "almost" perfect rating?

1. Bring back the awesome buffet(s) of the past. Model them after Black Bear and you will do well. We used to enjoy dining here many years ago and would love to see it happen again.

2. The Rival House needs to be open more. This is a nice bar, but when we visit during the week, we can't go here as it is closed. Of our several visits, it was only open once and we really enjoyed that and would like to visit again.

3. Add stadium BJ and other stadium games. I'm surprised that a modern casino like this doesn't have these as they are very popular at other casinos around the US.

I understand that #1 and #2 are related to labor challenges. But, again, Black Bear seems to be making it work in Cloquet. It can happen!!! :)

We will be back again as this is one of our favorite "motorhoming" stops. :)

Had a blast here for about 5 hours! I only play slots and this casino has an excellent selection of all types, styles and ages of slot machines. Plenty to go around. Lots of great new ones with very fun bonuses.. bonuses within bonuses! Was even more fun because I had multiple nice wins. I only bet $1.00-$2.00 per spin so not a high roller… but had many $100+ wins…. Even hit a $757. win! Clean casino, nice staff, great beverage areas, clean bathrooms. The only complaint is the smoke from the “enclosed” smoking area does drift into the main casino area. Hopefully their HVAC contractor or maintenance staff can correct that, make it better. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Nice clean casino. Mostly smoke free. Fun atmosphere, with a lot of slots and table choices. 3 restaurants and a fast food counter. Hotel is currently being renovated, but the mess is very contained. The new rooms look great!

I’ve always had great experiences at Grand Casino Hinckley and tonight was no different. Ronald at the cashier desk was so patient and kind and Rome and Jana at the blackjack tables were just as friendly and amazing. I appreciate the kindness and hospitality.

COUNTRY NIGHTS in August is very fun. Reserve camping early for full hookups, but general camping is free. In the grass, no hookup, but generators within reason are accepted. Great venue, people at general camping were great and had no issues in campground, nice and quiet. It is very American there, lots of Flags out. If Anti-America move on, but most of those people don't camp, fortunately.

It is so nice and clean comma the machines are spread out , so you feel like you're the only important person there. The attendants at the slots were polite and knowledgeable and helpful.

I only stayed in the hotel. I didn't go to the casino. The room was very nice. They even have smoking rooms! I am a smoker so I appreciated that. It's great that they can accommodate All of their customers. I recommend this business. I'll stay here again.

We stayed at Grand Casino Hinkley with Across Country Tours. The hotel was nice enough to allow us in with a larger group. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful! The rooms were comfortable with good beds and pillows. The bartenders were happy to have us there. The food was fantastic. I had the best Eggs Benedict ever for breakfast. We were very welcomed! I hope they allow our group back again!

Great table games and they still have self-serve refreshment stations! We live in the twin cities and usually go to treasure island but we might make this our new destination even though it is a longer drive.

Great selection of games and has an enclosed smoking section so we didn't have to endure the smell.

I visited the casino today with a good friend and stayed for a couple of hours, we had a great time went a little bit of money and the place was surprisingly clean , employees were amazing. This being my first trip there I wanted to check it out before making reservations to stay there and I will definitely be back.

The non-smoking area of the Casino was very well ventilated, so that was wonderful. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Many options for food at the various restaurants in the Casino. Bingo and pull tabs are always fun!

There was a small mix up with our room requests at our last stay. I filled out the survey they emailed me about our stay. Jeanne, the Reservation Manager, reached out to our group immediately to rectify the mix up. Outcome: they will comp us a room for our troubles. Great service Ms. Yantes!!!

The best casino in Minnesota! Consistently great service both in the casino as well as the hotel. Road construction to get here from St. Paul is completed now so the drive is relaxing and goes by fast with all the great scenery along the way! Swimming pool is great, slot machines are fun, and the tables seem to give more than they take. Definitely a great casino to visit either for a day or an entire vacation!

Always have a blast at Grand, blackjack dealer was very friendly and helpful for my daughters first ever visit. Also was able to use a free fast charger for my PHEV. There was some construction going on which was inconvenient but there was plenty of walkway to move around

My friends and I come here on occasion staff is always great and food as well. Win or lose in the casino it’s always enjoyable. Only complaint is I wish they had more blackjack table options like a good double deck or more 4 deck tables for the high limit. Plan many more trips in the future!

Clean and quiet. Stories diner has probably some of the best breakfast 🥞 I’ve ever had and at a more than fair price!

Great shows, great venue!

We stayed at the RV Park on our way to Texas. Great place to stay. Clean, nice walking trail to the Casino. Reasonable prices and good customer service.

One of my favorite casino's, friendly and hospitable staff, plus the redone hotel rooms are awesome!
