Hinckley Casino Hotel

So they take our the best buffet bar to replace it with 6 difrent resturants, but everytime I am there none of them are ever open, who idea was that unbelievable

It was fun! We had a great time for my boyfriends birthday. The slot machines didn't take your money right away and actually let you play which is nice u like Mystic Lake.

First time in remodeled rooms. Very nice upgrade .

Room 1254 East at the Grand Casino Hinckley is a suite right off the elevator. CONS: Room lighting is DIM. I don't know why, but it's annoying! The couch is so uncomfortable to sit on, please, for the love of God, either get new couches, or reupholster it and get new cushions. We had 3 people who wanted to play cards after playing the slots, and we had to put 2 cushions on top of each other, to sit on, and even that was uncomfortable. You'd think, for getting the room free, (my friend) for being a higher level of gambler(than me) , you'd get a better couch. Oh, and the carpet has seen better days. I'd wear your shoes there. PROS: Vending machine close by, two sinks in huge bathroom, separate bedroom from other room, little fridge, plastic cups. Enjoy my photos. Sorry for the DIM lighting, it's all they had.

The restaurant was amazing. Steaks fabulous, scallops cooked to perfection. Walnut apple salad phenomenal. Appetizer bread and shrimp cocktail delicious. Rooms very nice. Staff helpful. Even have W/C availability for those with mobility issues: saved my husband who's back decided to act up while we were there. Customer service superior.

The last room I stayed in was clean but shaggy needs work. Burn holes all over the carpet pitchers hanging on the walls should have been thrown in trash or repaired.

It was super fun. They made sure masks were required. The hotel room was nice, granted the sheets felt like parachute material, but still comfy! The microwave and everything was functional and everything was clean. We did notice no sort of house cleaning came, but I'm sure it's due to COVID and they don't want to risk cleaning the room until after the customer leaves.

The bathroom was nice as well. The actual casino was nice as well. Both had friendly staff! Will for sure come again!

This Sunday /Monday July 9-10th, we stayed on the top /12th floor, suite #1271 or #1217, I can't remember, but my friend got the room upgrade. The suite was huge! It had a little fridge, microwave, little sink, ice bucket, coffee maker with a few packets of coffee, a wall mirror, several closets, a sofa, chair, coffee table & 2 end tables w/lights (that had lighting w/25 watt bulbs?) , table/desk & separate chair w/desk lamp(poor lighting again), armoire with TV. THEN! In the bedroom, a king size bed, 4 pillows, 2 nightstands, armoire with TV, 2 bedside lamps, 1 tall lamp, a HUGE bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower, 2 sinks.

Bed was great, and I sleep in an adjustable bed at home, so this was excellent! We couldn't hear anyone else, if there was anyone else next door.

I can't attest to price, because I don't know it, but the bed was comfy. The sofa and chair were not super comfy (we played cards for a couple hours in our room, so it was uncomfortable to sit, and I'm not some elderly person! ). And the lighting was poor.. Again, we played cards, so just be aware. I felt like they could have put a higher watt bulb in the living room area, just my opinion.

All in all, a great hotel, very nice employees, clean areas, great food to be had. I'm not a big gambler, so I stayed and read in the room a portion of the night.

Always a great experience here! Rooms are clean and the staff is above and beyond friendly. Bathrooms and beds are exactly what you need, not a lot of over the top frills, but rooms do come with fridge and microwave, so that's a plus! Coffee makers and coffee or there is a little coffee shop downstairs too. A+ experience!

Reservations are recommend, checking in/out is a breeze. The front desk, bellhop and valet are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My rooms have been clean 98% of the time, the 2% weren't disgusting (I've been in the business and have very high standards). One time in 12 years did I request a new room. The few times I needed extra items ~ towels, pillows etc housekeeping was very prompt. The rooms are very spacious, they have different opinions depending on the length of your stay without raising the price. It's been a while since I have been there, however I have plans to be going soon. I would recommend it for any kind of getaway.

Came for the first time on my bday, let’s just say I only ended up spending $20. The buffet is worth the trip alone, so much to choose from 8 different stations. The room service was served hot and in a hurry. And from a former housekeeper, our room was up to my standards. We will definitely be back, with friends.

When I spoke to a Nancy over the phone, she was quite pleasant and efficient. She explained exactly what to expect as it related to cost including any fees, security deposits, and any other costs I was to expect to have to pay upon arrival to check in. Checking in at around 12am (midnight), Amber took care of me. Amber was also very pleasant and wildly accommodating going out of her way to ensure I was completely satisfied. Room (and bathroom) was above average in size for comparable rooms at other hotel/motel establishments. Had a dingle serve coffee brewer with a couple cups of coffee standard. A fridge, tv (not very big), comfy pair of queen beds, hair dryer, and heated or cooled air standard. Great casino including card games and lots of slots ranging in many denominations of play. On site are places to eat and drink and swim and play. The amenities list goes on and on.

Great atmosphere friendly staff on all areas, gaming is fun and many choices. Rooms are nice but need some updates,when its business back to our normal and they can afford it. Gaming seems to pay off for most people.

It's a fun casino but has gotten pretty expensive to play many of the games/slot machines on the gaming floor. The rooms could use some new updates when compared to other hotels.

One of the best casino's I attend. The customer service is wonderful, and all are friendly. Hotel staff is great and diligent in helping. Bar staff is wonderful, and always have a smile. Drink are great for the price. I really like the new setup and remodeling they have done with the pool/hot tub and gaming floor as well as the buffet and bars! Keep up the great work!

Very fun place to stay, great start for our little vacation

I love going to this casino when I get the chance to visit the place. It's a really big casino and the machines are very fair if you ask me. I've always enjoyed coming here to gamble. It's alot better than the casino where I live that's for sure. And the rooms here are also very nice. Any time that I am in the area I always make I am to make a stop in here to try and win some money. Even if I lose I really enjoy the time I get when I'm here.

A lot of new updates around the casino/hotel! The buffet is fantastic. The pool and hot tub area is super modern and really nice. Missing the poker room. But if you're loaded you will appreciate the high stakes gaming area that replaced it.

Upon arrival, my bbf we're greeted by Anna. Anna was hands down the best customer service representative I've had in the recent years. She made friendly small talk, was quick and funny. The rooms here are decent and machines are great.
