We were seen in the emergency department.
Our concerns were listened to, and addressed in a very timely manner.

Thank You!

I arrived at 5:00 am on my way to a week long fishing vacation in Canada the last week of June. I had the beginnings of pink eye but didn't know it. I was seen right away and the staff listened as I was speaking with the physician. Supplies and equipment were brought in to check if my eye was scratched before the physician order was written. I said something about being thirsty and a cup of ice water showed up. I received a prescription and was on my way in an hour. Great Care. Great Anticipation. Very attentive even though I was non-emergent. While this was my first visit at the new hospital, it was not our first visit as a family. The care has always been great. Thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff for being there when truly needed.

I have been to this ED twice as it's not my normal hospital. Both times the staff was so nice, attentative and I wasn't sitting there for hours and hours. I have been dealing with some health issues and have not felt as good as I do tonight in weeks! I am so pleased with the ED Dr. I saw. She was amazing!!

My mother is currently undergoing care at your hospital. When I stop in to visit her, I am warmly greeted and impressed by the attentive nurses she has had. My mother reports that her care is being attended to and tgat the staff go above and beyond to make her stay comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Thank you so much for caring for my mother so well. 😊

Been here for many things over the years, they’ve always been able to help and very friendly with whatever I have needed to be taken care of. Also has a pharmacy on site.

My family and I have used Essentia Health - Sandstone many times over the last 10 years, including in emergency situations. The hospital professionals, staff and facilities are top notch. We’ve always received excellent medical service, and have full confidence in the staff’s expertise. This is not just a standalone hospital - rather, it’s a vital and necessary part of our community. The staff cares about our community, and is always involved in local events and initiatives. We greatly appreciate our hospital and the people!

Need better signage for covid test, myself and another car didn't know where to go with snowy weather. Also, the nasel swab is very barbaric, a coworker i know said she had a throat swab. It was pretty harsh the depth of the swab in my nose!

Have went there a few times to visit a patient. I must say I have zero complaints about the nurses, or the doctors I have dealt with. Very nice people in the back room.
However, today, my girlfriend was told to be there for radiology for a couple of x-rays to see how her spinal operation is looking after having it done 3 months ago at Abbott. I myself couldn't drive her this time to the clinic, due to I had my own Dr. appointment in St. Cloud to attend, so she had to drive herself. (Its marginal that she should even be driving at this time due to having a major spinal surgery not so long ago)
She arrived there and the woman behind the glass told her that her appointment had been "rescheduled".
Nobody called her to inform her of this, and she questioned the lady behind the glass why nobody called her?
The receptionist stated "I dont have an answer for that, could you put mask on?"
To me this is very unprofessional behavior, and alot of the medical field seems to have a very poor attitude. Since this "pandemic", which pretty much everyone by now has a pulse on the nature of its usage is and has been, seems to have also "licensed" certian "care givers" to be very rude and uncaring.
People such as these have no use in working with the public. Especially in the health care field.

i went here looking for answers because i was coughing up blood after being ill with an upper respiratory infection, and instead was met with a very rude, opinionated doctor. Dr. Joann Litkey has a strong opinion about marijuana and will force it down your throat, call you an addict and argue that it’s the root of all your problems. she was extremely rude, unprofessional and didn’t even help, just called me an addict over a plant i use recreationally and shoved me out the door.

I have alot of emotions about this place, been in and out of here in my life. I've never really had a good experience here, especially the er.Alot of the staff here they do mean well, many of them are nice. I was down played here it feels. Many times. Years ago for a severe ear infection, and now for chest pain. I don't want to offend anyone but today I didn't get many answers and I have mixed feelings with how a medical staff of higher standing would just talk to me in the waiting room with others around. To my understanding that's a violation of HIPPA, unless patients dont have those rights? The waiting room knew that I am a smoker and that I have chronic chest pain after the conversarion with said staff, tho she was pretty nice otherwise. It should've been addressed in privacy. I'm disappointed at the sense of violation with the visit today. It's my fault for going to urgent care for severe chest pain thats now become chronic. Urgent care is meant for things that take quick fixes I figure but I was concerned with how severe my pain was today and decided to try it anyway. In my not so many years, I've found many people have had trouble here, I know I'm not alone. I suggest elsewhere for urgent care. You can not fiddle around when it comes to people's lives.

Went in for kidney pain, nurse was nice but Dr Litkey was one of the rudest people I have ever met. When I told her what was wrong she asked me in a very condescending voice "What my emergency was", told me that it was my choice not to take ibuprofen after I told her it legitimately doesn't work for me. And told me to eat ice chips and drink juice

My mom was left for several hours in the ER. The nurses wouldn't help her to the bathroom, let her soil herself and wouldn't come help clean it up. Then when they did come in the room and she was obviously upset, told her that if she kept talking she wouldn't get help cause they don't have to listen to it. We checked out and went to another hospital before they hurt her.

I would not take my dying pet to this place.

This place is a joke.
My fiance sat in the ER for over an hour tonight & instead of seeing him, they started rolling patients into his room like he wasn't even there. Not to mention, they completely got his name wrong even after seeing ID & the receptionist was very rude!
I took my son in with bed bug bites all over his body last week. They called it flea bites & sent him home with some anti-itch cream.
