I visited it for a photoshoot with Cajye Photography! I loved it! So many ducks, geese, and pigeons were lined up like it was a parade! 🥰 It was on May 22, and that night the tornado hit Belton and Temple. This shoot holds special memories since parts of the park were damaged.

Love going to this park in the early morning. The sun is just raising and lots of people exercising with their fur babies. The park does have some ducks that want to be feed. The park is very clean and the ground keeping crew is always working on keeping it beautiful. The trail along the creek is a great place to relax and unwind to start or end the day. You can take some unbelievable pictures as if you were some where else but not in Belton. It's a must on your list to go in Belton.

Favorite park in Belton. My dogs love it. The ducks are hilarious- they aren't afraid or humans. Please feed them peas instead of bread! Overall it's a great walking trail with beautiful scenery.

Great paved trail with some intermittent shade from trees throughout the trail. The trail connects into the Mary Hardin Baylor campus so makes for a really great run spot. The park itself is about 1.5-2 miles but if you run onto the campus sidewalks, it can be about 6+ miles (out and back).

There are trail markers and cameras throughout with water fountains throughout. The river was beautiful and relaxing to run next to, it looked quite clean and clear, several people fishing nearby.

The Riverwalk is a great place to relax, read a book and watch the birds...loved it. There is a basketball court, plenty of parking space, nice trails along the river, places to eat nearby and great spots to take pictures or just sit down and enjoy nature.

Best place for dog training, skating, basketball etc! Easy access to the fun man-made (small) rapids for kayaking/tubing in warmer weather and great walking trails!! Has 2 playgrounds directly adjacent, 2 basketball courts, 2 bathrooms, a gazebo with seating etc.!

Really cute park. According to my map your walk app it's about 1.2 miles from the bridge on one end to the other that both lead up to the street. It's all paved and right by the little creek. There were also a lot of cute ducks. Overall pretty nice, there are little play sets along the way too.

Just got back from taking my 6 y.o. son fishing. We caught a few small blue channel catfish and some other fish as well. There were ducks swimming around us the whole time and didn't seem to mind us drowning worms. It was a great day of bonding with my son, and it's not too far from the house. We will definitely be coming back again to do some more fishing.

Nice little park by the river with ducks.. pecan trees, a walking trail, restrooms at either end of the trail and picnic tables, it also has at a very old concrete Bandstand with very old benches both of which were over a hundred years old. They also have water fountain and horseshoe pits

This place is awesome! I will coming here to walk run and bank for like it friend. This is also a great place and one of our top picks to train due to all of the ducks and other movement going on. This is a great spot to take and friends. You can choose to stay on the paved trail . For if you're feeling adventurous take to show yourself and and so your feet in the creek.

Excellent, well maintained park!
City is constantly adding new features to improve your experience!
Man made Rapids for tubing or kayaking, potty bag dispensers for your pet waste, an adorable Old West themed SPLASH PAD and pavilion easily able to host parties of 80 people! Has W/M bathrooms, fountain, medium playground with shredded rubber flooring, swings, tables with covered tops along splashed and under pavilion.
New BBQ grills, benches, trees, etc. are continuously being placed throughout the park.
Bathrooms are 7+/10 with cleanliness year round, and the park provides plenty of trashcans for public use.
Clean grass, sticker/bur free, water fountains placed throughout the park along the elongated trail (I think 2 miles long almost?)
And excessive amounts of shade! Seriously!
I utilize the park for dog training weekly, and if we ever have a problem the Sheriff's department and BPD are literally a block or 2 away!

I've been going to this park since I was a child. I've seen it grow, change, and develop beyond what I could have imagined. Love the Hike & Bike trail, the landscaping, etc. Good job Belton.

Went to an Easter party at the park it was nice. There was bouncy houses, live music, and family fun. Nice to see that people still do these things.

We come here often because it's so fun. I appreciate the long, paved, lit up path for longboarding and the kids enjoy feeding the ducks. There's a swimming area, but I recommend life jackets for little ones since the water can get deep and swift. The playground is small but effective.
