Palmyra Dmv Select

Great staff working hard. The team there was professional and very helpful! They work super hard and are probably overworked and underpaid. I got there on a weekday at 740 and there was already 25 people in front of me. I got my ticket when they started handing them out at 8. They start helping people at 9. I got called into the building to wait inside around 1100, and was done by 1140. The nice lady went out of her way to explain a few extra processes to me. Very kind. Four hours from start to finish, which is long, but better than waiting two months for an appointment!

It was great! I didn't have to wait long and the person that waited on me was so so nice, helpful and polite! I'll go there again!

Friendly fast service. Located in a grocery store. Never seen one in a location like this. Back wall decorated with antique license plates.

Fast and efficient. I took a camper to register it and they had my plates, and registration in a few minutes with fast, and friendly customer service. I will drive out of my way to go there again.

Very friendly atmosphere. It is located inside a grocery store. They only do limited DMV work there. Prepare to wait and PLEASE (cannot stress this enough) when you get your number, don't leave and get upset when you've been skipped because you're impatient. Shout out to the young lady that kept her cool today dealing with impatient, crybaby adults.

We were able to get a DMV transaction completed here quickly when the Charlottesville DMV had an almost 2 month appointment list. They hand out numbers at 8:00 am, and start processing at 9:00 am. We got there at 7:15 am and were number 10 in line. The woman who did the DMV processing was friendly and efficient. We were done by 10:00 am. Note that the EW Thomas grocery store had hot breakfast sandwiches and pastries, so the wait is not too bad. The store is neat and appears very nice.

I am giving 5 stars because the staff was very helpful and things kept moving but I waited a long time because of the large crowd already there waiting. I got there about 9:45 am and was given the number 73. My number wasn't called until after 3:00pm. All in all faster than trying to get an appointment at a regular DMV and will continue to use the Palmyra DMV Select.

Way faster then I expected them to be and their customer service was great. There is also some hot and fresh food waiting for you in the back.

The staff was friendly and professional. We accomplished what we went to do. Other DMV'S could take a lesson from Palmyra. They only have 2 clerks. You get a number and when your number is called you go inside and take care of business. It moves well. Our number was 28 we got it around 8:45 they didn't open until 9 so the 2 clerks helped 27 people in a hour and a half. Think of the places that have10 windows. Thanks Palmyra

Thank goodness they were open. Not your traditional DMV (they're a tiny little desk in the little country store). They did their job quickly and efficiently and you didn't wait hours. And they were so friendly.

Going to Charlottesville is a waste of time. 15 minutes including waiting and everything got done. Amazing!!!

Due to covid 19 the wait times are increased but during normal times this is my favorite DMV! Short lines and great customer service.

Arrive Early!!! I arrived at 7:12am on a Saturday morning and was already 15th in line! They ran out of tickets by 830.

Best DMV! Everyone is so nice, polite and helpful. Line moves quickly too, just get there early.

Get there by 7am on Saturday to get a number. Only 40 numbers given out. Great service once you get in.

Greatest trip i have ever had at a DMV. The fried Bologna sandwich was great.

I had several questions regarding transfer of a vehicle from Florida and they were extremely helpful.

Very nice and courteous. Will be dealing with this branch of DMV again
