Kabuto Sushi and Teppanyaki

Service is my favorite thing about Kabuto. I love the lunch special (menu attached) you get soup with each lunch special whether its hibachi or sushi. Place really fills up on a weekday at noon! Located in pantops.

I recently visited Kabuto Sushi and Teppanyaki and had an amazing experience! Despite being a small, hole-in-the-wall place, the service was incredibly fast. The seared tuna was perfectly cooked around the edges and absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly and made the entire dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for great sushi and a welcoming atmosphere!

The food was amazing . Very decent sized proportion. The server was so sweet and prompt. The food didn’t take too long being they were so busy . Everything was great. I also had the Alaska roll , it was pretty good with soy sauce. The veggies and broccoli 🥦 were soooo good 😊.

This is such a cute hole in the wall place! It has the most INCREDIBLE sushi I’ve had in quite some time and it was made super super fast. Had the Spider-Man roll, kabuto roll, and sweet potato. We also had the crab wonton appetizer which again, incredible! Definitely highly recommend!

Excellent food. They were very busy for a reason. The miso soup was fantastic and the salad with ginger dressing was superb. Lovvved the yum yum sauce. Better sushi than everywhere in c'ville except maybe Ten (and at a much better price). We had a shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, chicken hibachi, and filet hibachi.

I wasn’t expecting much, but the service was great along with the food! I was surprised with the quality of the fish, was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit

It's always great, but you have to specify your food requests. I only had 1 bad experience close to close where I got less food and didn't cook meals as ordered but was not normally my experience.

Just ordered carryout. Hibachi portions are generous and my toddler loved her tamago. Inside was clean and service was fast and efficient. Thank you!

First time I came here, didn’t realize it’s in a strip mall. Don’t let the “hole in the wall” feel scare you, it’s one of the BEST sushi I’ve had. There was a place in Kennesaw, GA I frequented called Kuroshio that in my college days that I had not been able to replicate (10 years ago!) and this place is as close as it gets. Sushi is reasonably priced, I’ve done both dine in and take out. The service has always been stellar. If you don’t mind the kind of simple layout, the dining area is pretty unremarkable, however all this is trumped by how good the food is. I did the Alaskan roll, eel roll, spicy tuna, and miso soup. The rolls are not huge however you don’t need huge rolls to enjoy the flavor. The fish is soft and not chew, and best of all you don’t get that strong “fish” flavor some other places have. They also don’t douse the rolls in sauce which I love, so you can get a nice flavor mix. I rarely write long reviews but give this place a shot, carry out has always been consistent and on par with quality.

We had a great server and food came out fast. The hibachi dishes are pretty large portions and very filling. We also really enjoyed the clear soup. The sushi prices seemed pretty reasonable. We did the sashimi and I'm not sure if the pricing was great but I only enjoyed the tuna. But that is due to taste preference

All i had was an order of their pork dumplings and it was delicious. Can't speak to any of the other food, but as far as appetizers go, i highly recommend the pork dumplings.

Visited here for lunch after not living in the area for years. Staff still remembered us, and the sushi was great and tasted like I remembered, too. They have an interesting special sushi roll I have never been able to find anywhere else, Pink Spicy Girl Roll. Delicious. LGBTQ friendly.

They were very quick in their service. It is a pretty small restaurant so bigger parties (5+) might have a hard time sitting. Lots of options and seems to have a good amount of vegetarian options (sushi rolls too).

Came in for lunch, got hibachi steak and chicken. Absolutely delicious. Steak was cooked properly, the vegetables were caramelized, rice was short with lots of flavor. We were served quickly.

This place has such delicious food! Today was our first time ordering here. I ordered a tuna roll, California roll and spicy red snapper roll. The spicy red snapper was some of the best sushi Ive ever had. My husband and daughter got hibachi chicken and they loved it! It came with a sauce that tasted so good. Will definitely be back.

I had the chicken hibachi and it was so amazingly good. It was served with a small salad and a clear soup as appetizers. I really enjoyed the soup, which surprised me as I've had something similar before but it was never as good. But the chicken hibachi is genuinely delicious, the vegetables were good, the rice was flavorful without being greasy, and the chicken itself was the star of the show - a little seared and juicy. The dining room is small and around 8 on a Friday night it got busy, i think almost every seat was full and people were coming to pick up food. Yet even with all of that going on the food was prompt and my server stayed on top of everything despite being the only front of house staff. I will be back!

The food here never disappoints!! They have the best home made yum yum sauce too. Prices are fair, and each serving of hibachi is enough for 3 meals for me! ♥
