We used Oldfields Photography for a family/newborn shoot. Megan is a phenomenal photographer, she was patient and flexible. She made each of us feel welcome and comfortable while shooting our pictures. We would 💯 book again in the future.

Our engagement shoot with Emily was an absolute DREAM. I'm a little camera shy but Emily made me feel so natural and comfortable - our smiles were real because we were laughing and having fun!!! It helps that she is a huge nature lover and wove us in perfectly with our surroundings. And she had our pictures beautifully finished and returned to us so quickly, I actually got my invitations printed ahead of schedule. You're amazing Emily!! So grateful that we found you!

Oldfields Photography has been taking pictures of my family for several years, since Megan started this business. The first session she did for us was with our then 10 day old daughter, who is now 5. Megan is AMAZING. She is professional, talented and most inportantly an artist. Her photography is stunning! The newborn photography is unbelievable. She is wonderful with children. My son isn't exactly easy to photograph and my daughter hard everyone but she loved Megan. Highly highly recommend her. Taking pictures is an art form and Megan is an artist. Megan came in to our lives late 2013 after we had had our 2nd son and my husband did a basic Google search to surprise me with a family photo session. Never meeting Megan before our session in September I was nervous because you really hope you'll like the photographer and their style but my fears were quickly laid to rest when Megan introduced herself! She was incredibly friendly and warm and great with our boys! We received the proofs within the timeframe we expected and were ready to place our order for our favorite prints when we experienced the sudden passing of our youngest son. Megan was amazing and right away offered to get a number of Blake's photos printed, and framed, for our memorial service and she brought them to Richmond for us a few days later along with a yummy meal for our family in the weeks after. I cherish the photos Megan took of our family, especially our sweet Blake, and think of Megan as a wonderful friend and someone we will continue to use for family photos in years to come!

I have used Megan for a full family shoot and my family Christmas card annually. When I first started looking for a photographer, everyone I knew said Oldfields. When I walk into people's homes or see photos on Facebook, I know when they are done by Oldfields. She has a signature look to her shots. Megan has done two photo shoots for my family. One was the fall after I got married almost 5 years ago and she gave me redeption in the form of pictures I loved vs pictures I didn't like (from a different wedding photographer). We worked with Emily to have family pictures taken during a very short visit back to VA. Emily was so accommodating to our schedule and exceptionally timely with getting us our photos. She is so great with kids and makes you feel comfortable through the whole process. We will treasure the beautiful photos she took of us for years to come and look forward to working with her again in the future.

I cannot speak more highly of my experience with Emily at Oldfields for my Boudoir photoshoot. She was so responsive from start to finish. She provided a comprehensive intro call, answered all my questions. After I booked my slot and decided to move forward she was amazingly helpful! I created a Pinterest board to share my vision for the shoot. She gave me her thoughts, made suggestions, and went above and beyond to make sure I was ready for the appt. On the day of the session, she was right at the studio waiting for me with the makeup artist (who was also amazing btw). There was music, beverages, snacks, everything you need for a morning of pampering. She helped me choose my makeup, went over my outfits one by one. We talked about what to expect and she was a rockstar at guiding me through the process! Once the session was over, I was floored at how fast I received the initial digital gallery to choose from. She knew I had an important date that I needed the full album and she MADE IT HAPPEN! The final gallery was better than I could have hoped and the album is just stunning! If you have any hesitation about booking a session, just do it. You won't regret it.
