Such a cute little place with homey decor and comfy booths. Food was fresh and came out fast which is great when you have a toddler! Great French toast. Will be coming back here again. FYI - cash only.

I see a post about someone talking about a racist place with terrible service and attitude. I am here to tell you DO NOT Believe this person. I am from Jersey (land of the attitude) and have a vacation spot in Hobart. I was recommended to go here by a few locals! I can’t say enough good things about this spot. Run by a husband wife team and they really could NOT be any nicer. The food is top notch. I for one get the Lumber Jack breakfast with no ham, double the sausage and French toast over the hot cakes. The food is awesome. Their home fries have an amazing taste. I am just so mad reading that remark from a few weeks ago. Terrible attitude is impossible as they are always friendly. Talking about bigoted material, not at all. This person is really a clown and needs to read a few books in the “book town”! Folks you want to go here!!!. Small mom and pop joint with killer local grub. Enjoy the town of Hobart and get some local eats at the Coffee Pot!!!!

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT FOOD and HOMEMADE SOUP!! We drive truck over the road and its hard to find GOOD homemade food. COFFEE POT had our to go order ready, hot, and with generous portions. The soup was like what my grandma made. THANK YOU!!

A delightful little restaurant with a good old fashioned feel. The food was delicious and tasty. I received exactly what I ordered cooked to perfection. The owners were a wonderful couple greeting you with a HI and a welcoming smile. The waitress never let my coffee cup go on empty. A definite great eatery for breakfast and lunch tucked away in the small town of Hobart.

I am so glad COVID is over. I can finally go to the Coffee Pot and get a wonderful breakfast (two eggs sunny-side up, corned beef hash with extra onions, home fries, white bread with butter, jelly on the side, and a cup of tea with lemon)The prices are good and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service is outstanding. The owners are the best. They make you feel welcomed. Sorry no pictures. I saw the food and all I could hear was my stomach saying feed me 😂

Delicious breakfast and friendly service every time! Cozy country cabin-style atmosphere, with antiques decorating the walls top to bottom. Coffee is always fresh, and they have the best home fries around!

Best food around, and there used to be puppies. Everything is good at the Coffee Pot.

A hidden gem of the catskills. Homey place covered with classic witty signage staffed with personable locals. Great breakfast diner atmosphere complete with classic rock in the background. Would recommend to anyone interested in good food and coffee for reasonable prices and a relaxed dining environment.

Service is perfect and the food is exceptional. Mike and Geri, the owners, go above and beyond for every guest. They have ALL homemade food, salads, baked goods, soups. They never skimp! It a MUST when you're in the neighborhood!

Very friendly service egg sandwich was the best

Super quaint and cozy. The hosts are wonderful and the food was not only really delicious, they served me really quickly too. Very accommodating for my little guy, they are very baby friendly, and gave me a cup of apple sauce for him to try. Please do go if you are ever near.

Accidentally drove past this place after camping and saw a sign for breakfast, coffee and takeout. Turned around and glad we did. They were super friendly when I went in. I said I was hoping to get some breakfast to go and was offered egg sandwiches. Best egg sandwich I've had and we make our own almost every day. Wish I could be one of the regulars at this place!

Stopped for a late breakfast on Saturday. First time in the place and was completely surprised by all the cool things inside. Had a great breakfast sandwich and a hot tea. Then I had ca Fantastic Apple strudel that was out of this world. I couldn't decide between a strawberry rhubarb pie or the Apple strudel Definitely will stop in again next time I'm in that area.

I have lived in the next town over for a long time and have driven by this restaurant several times. However, today I decided to stop and check it out.
Amazing food, very friendly service, and nice home feeling atmosphere.
I recommend to stop in and check it out sometime if you haven't already.

The Coffee Pot! Says it all. Great Coffee, GREAT FOOD, And the best HOMFRIES, I've ever had! Cozy Country Atmosphere, and Owners that treat you like family!! Live 40 minutes away, and get their as often as I can.
