Goodcents

Not an “atmosphere” kinda place - although out the back there is a PUTT-PUTT business running. I’ve not eaten “Mr.” Goodcents since the 80’s & 90’s from my college days in Wichita. Subs are always expensive, but really like the freshly cut meat sandwiches. My wife had a fresh tuna sub / good change from burgers and fries! Stopped in Emporia for the first time EVER and knew it was my choice at first sight!

Home from out of town. Middle of a military move. They do not have Goodcents in Virginia or in Texas so I have stopped by 2 days in a row now. My favorite place for a good sub. The two that helped me were the same as yesterday! Very polite and quick service! Thank you so much for making this a great experience and great tasting food! 😘😘

I am not normally a cold sandwich fan, but these are delicious! The bread is not too thick and too chewy like some others. It is soft and very tasty. It doesn't get soggy, just soft. Will be having more sandwiches!

Family owned, amazing community assistance, as theve always been, during covid they assisted nurses & hospital with free food. Quick response at counter, suggestions, size & portion info, they really go out of their way to ease fast service, coivid protocols. Veg & salads in prepped containers, instant cleaning after serving, willing to let you know of the quantity they have on hand or can provide very pleased with the upgraded amt. As we felt we inconvenienced them to bag our order as it was very large. They were like every order is normal with the same care little or massive. All the little touches in the bag. & the day gokarting first is amazing. They are very private with your banking cards as we used them to rent the gokarts etc. Everything very professional. Owners right in there with their relatives, staff pitching in. Very demure, & courteous.

They have more non sandwich dishes than other sub shops. They slice the meat for each sandwich in front of you. This one is attached to a play place that you can do mini golf or go carts, but that area is only open during summer. There is a little playground outside for kids, little kids though

Our order was messed up pretty bad but spoke with the owner and he went above and beyond to make it right!! He even personally redelivered our order!! Hands down the best sandwich place around!!!!

I've been eating here since I was a child. Chicken Alfredo is my favorite dish here! Even better; a game of putt putt golf after a meal to spruce up your evening!

Excellent place with fresh food and delicious bread. Always loved the smell of the establishment.

Friendly and fast service. (: Highly recommend, especially if you're wanting a break from the typical fast food chains.

Quick and friendly, with a menu of delicious choices. I had a chicken, bacon, ranch and my wife ordered the meatball sub. Wrapped to go they were still hot when I got them back to work which is where we ate.

My order was sooo messed I called and spoke with the owner when I asked for manager but he fixed our or and made it right he went above and beyond to make right thank you.. great service

Deli sandwiches and pastas are the best in town. This guy (Rick) gives a one star review because of his WiFi experience? That's shameful (Rick).
