Chris's Original Pizza

We were staying in our RV at Ferryboat Campgrounds, Liverpool, Pa. and in the mood for Italian, especially pizza 🍕 😋! Decided to try out Chris's Original Pizza! What a great decision! My husband has eaten a LOT of pizza in his almost 75 years and said it was 1 of the BEST pizzas he's ever eaten! I had stuffed shells which was also very good. Hubby also ordered a cold Italian sub. Of course, we didn't finish anything we ordered but both had a bite of the sub which was also great. The dough of pizza and sub was DELICIOUS! We WILL be back to Chris's every time we visit Ferryboat Campgrounds!

The cheesesteak special subs are awesome! Pizza is good too! Always try to get food there whenever we are in the area. Owners are great people, very friendly.

We have been buying pizza from this local business for over a decade now. The pizza is almost always exactly what we are looking for.
Our standard go-to pizza is a large cheese pizza & the special white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes being our second most ordered pizza from here.

The sub bread (bun or roll) is made fresh and that makes almost any sub you order amazing.

All the other foods we have tried over the years have been good and freshly prepared/cooked to order.

Gotta say it. Good subs, decent pizzas but the winner is -.the cheese steak! Yum! With that in-shop made fresh bun and the sweet marinara sauce. Really good. Nice people and nice service, too. Will be back for more.

Owned by an old couple from Naples. Thier kids help on weekends. Pennsylvania pizza is often over looked due to New Jersey n NY being close. This little gem in the back waters is like many places throughout Northern pa. Thier pizza stacks up against any I have ever had n you feel the family atmosphere n don't mind paying for good local food. I don't order subs and thier wings are the battered type where they give you the sauce to dip. They are ok. Super clean love them hope the kids keep it open the parents are getting old.

My family and I stopped in after 8pm on our way to Palmyra NY and got a couple thin crust pizzas. I usually don’t like thin crust but this was the best thin crust I’ve ever had. We tried the manicotti pasta which was new to me. It was very delicious. At the end they even gave our kids son success and toys. It’s a very nice family who runs this business. We will definitely stop here again our our way back to Florida.

I've been eating here—or taking it to-go—for THREE decades. The family that owns this place are some of the sweetest and kindest people that I've had the privilege to know.
Yes, it sometimes takes awhile for your food to get done, but they have a fairly thriving business with relatively small cooking space for maneuvering around one another. They are usually fairly busy, if not always dine-in, still busy with carry out.
I love their food and their smiling faces, and they always ask me how I've been. Like I said, three decades 😉

Great food at reasonable prices! I am a pizza lover, so, having moved here a little over a year ago, it's our go-to place for pizza and subs! Highly recommended!

We didn't eat in BC it was really close to closing time. The service was great. We got a small bacon and ham pizza. Wish it had a little bit more topping. The pizza was so good it made up for it. LOL!

I had the chicken parmesan Sub which is huge but I'm really a fan of their 'bolis!
Their stromboli is the best!

While this is not an elegantly ornate place for an exquisite dinner, atmosphere here is totalmente italiano!! Chris is a native of Sicilia, as were my great grandparents, and we had a most wonderful Italian conversation. Il suo figlie (his son) speaks fluently as well, so I was able to practice my Italian with him too. Chris makes and rolls his own dough and, for me, that can make or break a pizza.

What a wonderful surprise to get an “eccellente” late night dinner while fishing with my buddy on the river. Squisito!

Great food and great service. Bread on the subs is excellent! The cheese steaks and Italian subs are my favorites, Don't let the converted home look and sometimes empty parking lot fool you.
Pizza is really good as well !

Amazing. We stopped randomly today for an early dinner on our drive home from Disney World. The owners were so friendly and kind, the food was AMAZING! The pizza was to die for, the pasta was delicious and the garlic bread was also delicious! At the end the man gave the kids suckers and m&m’s as a special treat! There were 8 of us and everyone left full and happy!
The whole restaurant area was super clean including the bathrooms!
Very very affordable prices too!

We are going to make a point to stop here every time we drive through the area!! Highly recommend!

I've been going there for 17yrs and only ever had 1 burnt pizza that's pretty good to me. Best ceaser pizza around

Chris no longer owns this restaurant. A friendly Sicilian man does. I was driving to Rickett's Glen State Park and craving stromboli. After finally spotting a non-chain pizza place, we did a u-turn to check it out. This place could not have better satisfied my craving, and the onion rings were perfectly cooked as well. I would definitely return here in a heartbeat.

I'm from LANCATER PA and drive almost 2 hours to get here for a meatball sub...ok not just 1 but 3 meatball subs and I was looking forward to coming back to this place for almost a year....EXCELLENT FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE The ppl working for POP should be very happy. If he treats his employees ANYTHING like his customers they are some happy folks....keep up the GREAT SERVICE!
