Doubletree by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place

We had a 2 BR suite and enjoyed our stay.

Pros:
- Huge room
- Great pool with plenty of seating and an area that opens to a fantastic patio area
- Hotel seemed very clean
- full service bar with a good variety
- Breakfast on site but it's like $16. Not horribly priced, but a little on the high side. Good options tho.
- Plenty of parking

Cons:
- Front Desk receptionist seemed more interested in the bartender than me.
- quite a few nicks in the paint in our room, could use some touch-up.
- Stains on the carpet were noticable
- not a ton of stuff in walking distance, but a short drive to plenty of eateries.
- Would love a stronger water pressure. After a day of traveling, I want to be beaten by the water, and unfortunately, that's far from the pressure in the showers here. But I get it, green initiative.

Impression: I don't think you'll get a better room for $200. It was so big and comfortable for our family of 5. I would stay here again. The cons are relatively minor compared to the pros

Even though I didn’t have the chance to stay. However, they proved to me how highly valued their potential customer. I made a wrong reservation and went to them in the same day to cancel it since I am leaving the town. They understood and refunded me with no penalty.

The lobby and restrooms are clean which is also a sign of clean rooms.

Excellent hotel experience. The staff was welcoming and always accommodating. The restaurant was fantastic, my wife and I both enjoyed the meals we had there. The cajun chicken pasta was something we both talked about and are trying to recreate at home. The cookies were always warm and Candace at the front desk was quick to help out with any requests we had. We will most definitely be staying here any time we come to Chattanooga.

Beautiful and UPDATED rooms and grounds. Workout room was clean and had great equipment - has a Peloton!

Noise levels inside and outside aren’t bad at all - pretty quiet in general.

One weird thing is the breakfast isn’t complimentary…you have to pay $17 for a buffet style normal hotel breakfast…very strange.

Just checked in! So far my experience has been great! When I got to my room it was bigger than it looks in the pictures online, clean and it even had my name on the TV welcoming me in. I am thoroughly impressed with the workers here too. Kind and Courteous!! Especially Candice. She is on top of everything making sure that everyone is well taken care of.

Right off the highway. Affordable, clean hotel that’s budget friendly. Hotel has an indoor pool and a restaurant on site. Overall stay wasn’t bad. They didn’t have extra pillows but nothing to complain over.

Love this place! Will always stay here when we come to town. The staff is absolutely amazing and the restaurant is incredible! Drinks, food, service, 10/10 every single time.

The rooms are gorgeous I especially like little touches like my name on the TV when we arrived, what a cute little personalized welcome! The staff were so accommodating and kind. Joey and Laura were ones that stood out the most to me! Wonderful people. Also they have a heated pool that my son absolutely loved. I always stay here at least once a year but the remodel they have done makes it even better than it was before. I slept like a rock in the luxurious bedding and amazing pillows! I'll have to see what pillow they use, so I can buy it for my home! All around great stay, thank you!

Some of the reviews here seemed a bit harsh...perhaps there has been a remodel but we found the staff friendly, the rooms clean and fresh and the location is awesome for scads of very near and diverse dining options. Would gladly stay again.

Very nice hotel. With some very nice rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have never stayed at any hotel that has put a message on the TV, welcoming you. That was a great touch that hooked me.😂😂😂. This was a first that was a good personal touch. The only thing I did not like was the smell of chlorine in the room. Also, I will not get a room on the second floor. There is no view because of the roof. The location of the hotel is off in the cut. Kind of hidden. But I can deal with that. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay and will be back.

Love the aesthetics and the vibes at this hotel. It smells so good when you first walk in. We were greeted right away, check in was so smooth. The staff is very friendly and nice. Candice was such a huge help to us. She went above and beyond for us to make sure we were as comfortable as ever for our stay with them. She was very sweet too. The ambiance and atmosphere is really nice. It’s in a great location for shopping and food as well. I highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area.

This hotel underwent a recent renovation, and hit the nail on the head. The rooms and common areas looked great and everything was clean and comfortable. The front desk and restaurant staff were all welcoming and good to interact with. We'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The customer service was off the chain, housekeeping spectacular.

The room was comfortable with an amazing bed. The room was quite. I was over the laundry room (2nd floor room) and did not hear any noise. Water pressure was great and the hot water was hot!

The pool was clean with a very nice secluded patio area.

The bar tender was attentive. Food was made with love.

This was a good representation of the Double Tree brand.

I would stay here again.

Booked on Priceline and the price was great for the location. It’s centrally located close to the downtown area. Room was very clean and spacious. Lobby and hallways were clean and smelled good. Upon arrival the front desk lady (didn’t get her name. African American lady with braids) was super welcoming and sweet!!! Whenever we come back to Chattanooga we’re definitely staying here.

This hotel is nice! Our room was clean although, wish we could have a few more towels from the start, but they bring new ones every day. Didn’t expect the free cookies which is a plus! Also, We love that we can go to the pool afterwards because my daughter LOVES it!

Everything was fantastic!
Rooms were clean service was efficient and personable. I was in town for a 25th vow renewal and the ceremony was five star. I really enjoyed my time with family.

they are certainly improving and renovating this place so I would say in these recent and near future months to have some grace with them as they improve the hotel.
there are still some issues left over from the former Holiday Inn and I can see them working to fix them. some rooms are still under renovation and at the moment the pool is being renovated.
all of the staff was very welcoming and accommodating even as we were in and out a bit later.
you do have to pay for breakfast, however, that should be noted anyway before booking a hotel so I don’t consider that a con.
the rooms are bright and clean and are obviously an improvement from the former Holiday inn I have also previously stayed in. the main lobby is beautiful and simple and the Christmas decorations I got to see in my stay were very nice. the bathrooms are nicely lit with an LED “beauty light” mirror and the tub showers has a stability handle.
i would say an issue to note outside of the hotel is there is an issue with worker trucks parking in the handicap parking without such documentation. shallowford road is also a rather busy road, so if you are not used to city traffic I would take note of that. however, it is very close to the mall and a comfortable drive to most Chattanooga attractions, as well as food options.
the only issue I had in my stay was the AC which was rather loud and didn’t work for the first hour we were in our room; however, another person in our group in the connected room had a fine AC and it worked later after hitting some random buttons. the AC issues are leftover from the Holiday Inn and I am sure Hilton will change those out in the coming cold months.
get the map in the lobby, it will help a lot.

These guys were nice enough to let me stay here before they were officially open back in June 2022. So appreciative. It was the middle of the night and a different hotel
next door ditched my confirmed reservation. They really bailed me out even though their lobby wasn't fully finished yet.
Nice new clean room.

Great experience. Used the Hilton app for everything and didn’t have to talk to anyone. It was an introverts dream come true
